No matter how much I cried

You were always by my side

In the dark and in the light

Always by my side

Holding my tight

Though it's hard to see

I know you're there by me

Under the sun or moonlight

Shining day or night

Hoping I'll be just fine

And never letting go

I see those faithful eye's

And I pray for all to be right

Though all is wrong

All will soon be right

The glass is breaking

And your letting go

I pray you'll move on

And I shall as well

I know you love me

And I know you always will

But I can't promise everything

But my heart is all I have to give

Hoping you'll hold on forever

But since that's a long time

You can hold on until the day we die
