today i look in your eyes

i see the fear come on

through these years of pain

i still see those tears go on by

like the ocean evaporating

and coming back

though they seem to fade

i am greatful

you made it all this time

i didn't know that you were gone

in pain and great remorse

i don't know how to act

if i should pray or pay

was this my doing that caused you to cry

still they pour in strands

of liquid embrace

upon your smooth skin

i feel your life flow by

like the wrinkles come and go

still your eyes tell me that your gone

through that distant stare

i know that you did care

but your deep blue eyes

just seem to glow within me

the way you left just wasn't fair

now the tears come from me

the sadness evercame my face

tortured rivers upon my face

now scar my every lace

and now i know

that if i pray you'll go to heaven

and be with those in which you love the most

just my leaving me i know you cared

though its not fair the way you left

i feel the joy surrender my life

and all these tears

are just a way of showing you today

that i care for you

and wish you to god's world

within this time of grace
