The Physical State of My Humiliation
Memorable Love Part 1
Donghae was wondering around the new environment, in search of someone he was desperate to see. It has been 5 years since he has been separated from his one true love, Eunhyuk. He hasn't had contact from him for years, and so he is now in search for him to meet him personally.

Donghae, with the address in his hand, finally approached a home that he thought was a wonderous view. There were wooden frames around clear, glass windows, a dark wooden door, and white walls made of painted brick. He approached the home slowly and observed its beauty. He opened the gloomy-gold gate and walked towards the front door slowly. He looked down at the sheet of paper once more to see if he had the right address, and knocked on the door. He waited, impatient to see his love after 5 long years of depression and anxiety. The door swung open, and he was greeted from an elder female. She looked up and down at Donghae and observed him as if she didn't want him here. "How may I help you?" she asked. Donghae looked back, and then towards the older woman, and asked, "Does Eunhyuk live here?"

The woman took one glare at the other, and stepped back, gesturing Donghae to enter the home. Donghae did so, and he looked around, seeing that the house looked bigger inside than it did out, which caught his interest a lot. "Eunhyuk is upstairs." the woman said, interrupting Donghae's thoughts. Donghae looked back at the elder and nodded, quietly stating, "Thank you." and he quickly ran upstairs. "I swear, that kid's up to no good." the woman muttered to herself, shaking her head and leaving to the kitchen.

Donghae looked around for Eunhyuk's door out of all of the other doors that has been surrounding him and staring him down, challenging him to see if he can find the right door. And he did. He approached the door down the hall and took in a deep breath. He gently slid his index finger around the doorknob, cherishing the moment. He looked back to see if the older woman was watching, and knocked on the door. "Come in." the familiar voice said behind the door. Donghae opened the door slowly, and peeped his head through the opening he made. He looked around for his man, and saw Eunhyuk sitting on the bed and watching television. Donghae entered the room, and closed the door.

Eunhyuk looked up, and made a confused face towards Donghae. "Do I know you, sir?" he asked. Donghae's eyes widened and sadly stated, "Are you sure you don't recognize me? Lee Donghae? We were friends back 5 years ago?" Eunhyuk tilted his head, and shook his head, "I'm sorry. I really don't remember you, sir, but you have an adorable name." Eunhyuk smiled innocently, and reached for the remote on the table next to the bed he was on. Donghae, who kept himself from crying, approached the table and gave him the remote. Eunhyuk smiled to Donghae and said, "Thank you." Donghae forced a smile and nodded. "So are you sure you don't remember me?" Donghae repeated. Eunhyuk looked at Donghae's face even closer, just inches apart, and shook his head, "Nope. Not really familiar."

This hurted Donghae so much. This made his heart ache all over. He really wished that Eunhyuk would remember, but the main thing he wanted to know was why the one he loved, and knew loved him back, couldn't remember him. "I will be right back." Donghae said, trying his best to sound as happy as he could. "Okay." Eunhyuk said, unaware of Donghae's pain. Donghae closed Eunhyuk's door and headed towards downstairs.

Donghae looked around, trying to find the old woman that he met before he entered the house. He saw her in the kitchen, reading a newspaper and drinking coffee in the dinner table. "Excuse me?" the woman looked up, and asked with a strong attitude, "What do you want?" Donghae approached the other closer, and asked, "Is Eunhyuk alright? Is there anything... wrong with him?" The woman slammed the newspaper on the table, and stood up. "Are you saying there's something wrong with him?" "No!! Of course not. It's just, we used to be in love with each other, and he doesn't remember me, so..." The woman sighed and looked down, as she pointed to the seat across from her. Donghae nodded, and sat down in the chair, and the woman sat afterwards. She sighed, and said, "When he left Korea, he got into a car accident when he was riding a taxi, and it affected his brain." Donghae covered his mouth, as the woman continued, "That is why I was so worried if he was going to survive. Miraculously, he did. However, his memory was badly affected and so he couldn't remember anything or anyone that he had met or done before." Donghae started to feel tears swell up into his eyes, upset that his worst nitemare has came true. He remembered the promise that Eunhyuk proposed to him, and it hurted him that he broke the promise, and it wasn't his fault.

"And that is probably why he doesn't remember you." the woman concluded, once again shaking Donghae from his thoughts. "Did the doctor try to refresh his memory?" "He is recapturing things day by day from his new medication," the woman answered. "but the doctor said that only 20% of his memory will return." Donghae sighed, slightly relieved that Eunhyuk will get part of his memory back. After all, it was better than none, right? "Is there a chance that he would remember me? Like, if that 20% partially was me?" The woman shrugged, and replied, "It would be a miracle for both of you if he did. But since he cared for you deeply in the past and still does, he would probably remember you with some chance." Donghae nodded, pouting that he has a small chance for Eunhyuk to remember him.

Donghae stood up and pushed the chair under the table. "I really appreciate you giving me enough information to satisfy my curiousity." the woman nodded and forced a smile. "Just don't hurt my Eunhyu--" "Wait." Donghae interrupted. "You are his mother?" The elder's eyes widened and made an expression that read, "Are you kidding me? You never knew that?" Donghae felt dumb that he didn't notice the woman as Eunhyuk's mother after being with her son for so long. "I apologize. I really didn't notice." The mother just nodded and waved her hand towards Donghae, signaling him to leave. Donghae nodded and headed back to Eunhyuk's room once more.

"Eunhyuk, are you busy this weekend?" Donghae asked, sitting on Eunhyuk's bed and facing him. Eunhyuk looked back and nodded, "I have time. Why do you ask?" Donghae smiled and asked, "Do you want to spend time with me for a couple of days?" Eunhyuk pouted and looked up to the ceiling, thinking for a moment. "You mean, like a date?" Donghae's heart leaped and skipped a beat when he heard Eunhyuk's voice say the word "date" once again. It's been too long. Donghae thought. He nodded, and said, "Sure! So do you think you can spend one day with me? Or are you scared that I'm going to kidnap you or something?" Eunhyuk laughed at the small joke Donghae made, and nodded. "Sure. I'll spend one day with you. I trust you." Donghae felt better that Eunhyuk trusted him after just one evening and that he was going to spend a whole day with the one he loved. The one he wants. The one he wants to refresh his memory and fall in love with once again. @

Note: Yeah, I know that this story is random, but it has a reason as to why I paused SuJu Shapeshifters and started a new one. You see, the reason why I wrote this is because there is this guy I used to date in Korea. And because we moved, we couldn't see each other no more. And when I realized that he went to the new school I transfered to, I wanted him to see that I was a close friend of his, but he couldn't remember me. So that sorta hurt me by a lot. That's why I wrote this story. To describe how I feel, with me being in Donghae's shoes, and my friend being in Eunhyuk's. Except he didn't get into an accident and lose his memory. xDDD
