Welcome back.
Report XLI.
Training is finally over. It has been 23 days since the day of Mikaela’s/Xikaelam’s birthday. I haven’t truly gotten the chance to observe Greg by day. I haven’t seen him in his natural habitat yet, but I did meet him one night in the back of his house. I guess I could refresh on it.
It was March 10th and it was around 12:30am. Xikaelam was asleep, so I thought I would take a personal look around on where I’m about to stay. I thought I would head over to Greg’s house since I had nothing better to do. It was dark, but the gazing glare of the moon held hanging up in the misty sky. I arrived about 15 minutes later to spot that he wasn’t within the house but behind it. I went on top of the roof to get a better view of what he was doing.
Greg was standing in the dark with a hoodie on (as usual). He was looking out in the wide open with nothing to look at. He looked as though lost or in a type of mental breakdown. With that by thought, I decided to go face-to-face. I hopped down and saw that he didn’t notice even by the noise I made from the landing. I began to creep closer at a time until finally he froze. He turned and saw me before him.
By his expression, he looked a bit cautious. In his hand was a type of a device that I researched called “iPod”. It is a device in which stores music and you may listen to as you please to wherever you go to. Anyways, he did not fear at all. I believe he knew who I was.
“Who are you?” he asked sounding very serious.
“Huh...” I replied, “I guess I was wrong then.”
“Wrong? What do you mean by wrong?”
“I’d thought you might’ve known who I was, but I guess not. You seem pretty serious from what I see. What are you going to do about it?” I said teasingly.
“Heh... I think I might know who you are. You’re probably fake anyways.”
When I heard that it made me look completely stupid. I believe he couldn’t see my face.
“W-What’s that suppose to mean?” I asked now.
“Well, you’re starting to sound a bit like a person I know named Larxene but...”
“Larxene?!? You know her?” I yelled.
Greg crossed his arms now knowing that he had control now. It seemed he knew a lot more then I thought. “Yeah I might know her, but you never know, Xeggr...”
I got a straight pose and gulped. He knew my name, but how did he know such a thing. Has he been stalking me? Did his dad not forget about me? What was going on?
“Calm down dude,” he said politely, “You’re probably not real anyways. This is probably a dream.”
I got into motion now and crept closer to him. I was feeling a bit better now knowing he had no idea I truly existed. “Alright, I guess you could say that...”
He gave me a weird look. I could tell that he still couldn’t see my face. “What’s that suppose to mean?”
“Well...it’s like what I told your dad...” I began gracefully, “You’ve got five seconds until you are unconscious.”
He stopped and looked down. He shook his head with only to be a grin on his face. “Let me guess... You either got a Nobody behind me OR you just got another you or Xikaelam behind me, correct?”
I was shocked. This boy is better then I thought. “I underestimated you Greg. I’ll give you a break then since I’ll be the good guy here.” I moved my hand forward in his direction so the Nobody behind would come towards me. The little Seeking Nobody came walking from behind and stood by my side.
Greg looked back up and did a small laugh. “Y’know, I was just feeling like s**t about know till you came. You gonna come back?” he asked sounding calm, yet excited from his tone.
I thought for a moment as the Seeking Nobody disappeared. I looked up at him, “You can count on it.”
He gave me a good smile as I disappeared in thin air.
I just appeared back on the roof to see his next reaction. The only thing he did was shake his head seeming it still wasn’t real. He probably really doesn’t know that I truly exist.
Even though that night showed me something, I still don’t get how he got that type of information. I will find out one way or another when the time comes.
Report XLII.
It’s March 16th, 7:36pm. I’m at Greg’s house and see no one home. I searched the windows to find not a heart within the home. This, I thought, was a good time to search through the house.
I made it simple and just teleported within the house. The interior of the house was beautiful. It was a big house in my perspective, but a bit messy in a few areas. I didn’t find much but what you would normally find within a house. I did find one thing though and that was 5 bedrooms.
His father: Age 46, 6’2” A good doctor. I noticed by my stalking that he got an invitation to the capital of this country called Washington D.C. as for being the best physician in the country. He had a direct way of meeting the leader, but didn’t go for a purpose I never found out. Greg finds him more reliable in a way since he relates to the same gender and understands him better.
His mother: Age 38, 5’5” Though she may be a bit hot headed, she takes care of him very well. He is getting along better with her from what I’ve seen, but I still suspect a weak point from her. It’s by the tone of her voice. Whenever he here’s her call his name, he fears of outcomes of which he has done something that was bad in a way. But most of the time it isn’t.
His sister: Age 16, 5’5” She seems a bit mean, but more responsible then Greg. She takes care of things better then Greg, but doesn’t understand him one bit. At times she gets very happy and is always around her boyfriend named Brandon.
And of course the last bedroom was Greg’s.
I didn’t really find much, but did notice a lot. All of the electronics were off. For example: The TVs, the computers, lamps, lights, everything main. Now when normally no one is home, they never turn off their computers from what I’ve seen. I went back outside to find all of the cars still here. I was a bit curious now. Where had they gone to? Will they come back?
I rushed over to the apartments and found Xikaelam on the couch reading something. “HEY!” I yelled as it made her jump.
“What is it?” Xikaelam asked.
“Greg and his family are gone.”
Report XLIII.
“What do you mean he’s gone?” she asked sounding as if I’m completely stupid.
“I mean that all of the cars are in the house, everything is turned off, and nobody is there to be seen.” I replied.
“That doesn’t really mean they’re really gone.”
“Yes it does. They never leave any of their computers on.”
Xikaelam looked at me with great stupidity. “...So them leaving their computers off makes them disappear?”
“No! Are you that much of a pain? Is it hard to understand?!?” I yelled.
“Well, I bet they just went somewhere and...”
“All three cars are still there at the house.” I interrupted with a serious tone.
Xikaelam raised an eyebrow and I could tell now she was thinking. “You’re joking right?”
“Does this sound or look like a joke to you? They’re out of town, not here within this state. They are somewhere else by now enjoying themselves and we’ve got to find the answer before it is too late.”
She closed her book and set it on the couch. “Alright, was any kind of clues around that said on where they were heading?”
“Not that I saw. I searched the whole house and found nothing.”
We thought and thought of many guesses, but there wasn’t one that really added up. We were stuck for about an hour and a half. Then I finally thought of something...
“What were those doctors’ names?” I asked Xikaelam.
“The doctors’? What’s so special about them?” she asked.
“Well, they might be apart of this. You never know. His father was apart of the group.”
“Let’s see...” she thought, “There was Dr. Chambon, Rickliff, Urbine, Isferm, Snebay, and...Elfman I believe.”
I looked down in deep thought and tried to line them up. I kept them in the order she said since it made since in my terms. The only thing I saw were the capital letters of their last names. I put them together. I got wide eye and looked at Xikaelam. “I got it!!” I yelled, “Its CRUISE!”
“What?” she said confused.
“I said Cruise.”
“You mean like one of those boats?” she asked.
“Precisely. Their heading to get on a cruise boat!” I said excitingly.
“And why do you predict this?” she asked.
“There were some papers by the printer in the house that said ‘Norwegian Cruise Line’. I think that their heading there!”
“Why didn’t you inform you saw this?”
“Eh, forget I guess. But enough; let’s head back to the house to examine more.”
With that, we appeared right in the front entrance inside the house. I dashed to the printer by the computer as Xikaelam followed by walking calm.
I held the paper out for her to see, “This is it. It has all of their documentaries and bios on there. I believe that to legally leave another country, you have to have a pamphlet called a ‘Passport’ for each individual.”
Xikaelam was flipping through all of the pages. “This also has information about where their heading by cities and countries.”
I moved over by her to take a look. “New Orleans?”
“That’s probably where they’re on their way to right now.” Xikaelam said as she got on the computer to look it up. She got on the internet and began to search on a website called ‘Google’.”
“When did you get so good with computers?” I asked.
“I’ve been watching Mikaela as she tries to get on her mom’s laptop each morning. I also just like to figure stuff on my own and mess around.”
I shrugged and put my hands behind my head as I waited.
“Done,” she said a couple seconds later. “I’ll print out the directions from here to New Orleans.”
The printer began to make noise and there slowly came out the map of directions. I grabbed them and made a dark portal to head back.
“Wait!” Xikaelam said as I began to walk with the portal.
“What?”
“We need a vehicle to get there.”
I closed the portal and smirked.
“What do you have in mind, Xeggr?” she asked.
Report XLIV.
We began on the highway heading to New Orleans in one of Greg’s cars. I was driving, since I learned myself personally from a simulator on the computer. Xikaelam was the navigator on the side seat in the front.
“Remind me...” she asked, “Why couldn’t we just teleport there instead of high jacking his car?!?”
“Where’s the fun in that?” I said, “Besides, we found nothing on him taking an airplane, so he drove. All we need to do is catch up with him.”
“You’re still too young to drive though. We could get pulled over!”
“Like you’re any older. Anyways, what part of Nothingness did you forget?”
She shook her head in disappointment. “I can’t believe you...”
“I can’t believe how fast this BMW 2004- 525d can go!” I yelled with excitement and put my foot on the acceleration petal hard.
For countless hours we drove heading for New Orleans. We were about half way there and it was 1:00am. “Which exit Xikae...?” I turned and saw her fast asleep. I took the papers and examined myself. I decided to find a hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.
I drove through the city and found a nice looking suite to stay in. It was called ‘Embassy Suites Hotel’. I stopped the car a block away for a moment. I snapped my fingers and made Xikaelam’s coat appear on her with her head up. I did the same so we could stay in disguise.
I began again and pulled up to the front of the hotel. An employee came up and opened the door for me. I nodded and gave me a weird look. “Um, how old are you, sir?”
“17,” I answered within a deep voice so it sounded like Greg’s father’s voice. I held up a 100 dollar bill. “At least, that’s what you think, correct?”
The man smiled and snatched the 100. “Whatever you say sir. Where would you like for me to park your car?”
I looked around and saw a perfect spot. “Across the street if that’s alright.” I said as I head for the other side of the car. I opened the door and helped Xikaelam out. I was just carrying her now.
The man hoped and the car and drove over and did a clean parking. I was lucky enough to head to the bank and exchange my Munny for some U.S. money. The man came back to me with the keys. “There you are, sir.” He said as he handed me the keys.
“Thanks, now since you’re such an excellent man,” I said as I reached in my pocket, “Here’s another 100.” I handed him the money. “We keep this our secret got it?”
“Yes sir.” He replied sounding happy.
“Now, there’s another 100 involved if I find you out here 10:00am tomorrow morning?”
“Certainly sir. You will be pleased.”
“Thank you. ‘Night.” I said as I walked within the hotel.
The hotel was fairly empty, but was very nice and clean. With Xikaelam still in my arms, I laid her on a couch n the lounge area. I went up to the front desk now.
A black woman, who was in a uniform, was behind the desk. “How may I help you sir?” she asked.
“Yes,” I began, “Room of two until 10.”
“Alright, name?”
“Uh...Xeggr.” I said.
“Last name?”
I sort of froze for a moment and thought. Then it hit me. “Chonxbam, Xeggr Chonxbam.”
She began to type on her computer. “Alright, that will be $179.65. Credit or cash sir?”
I reached in my pocket again. “Here’s 200, keep the change.”
She took the money and placed it within the register. “Your room is on the 6th floor, room 6234. Would you like for someone to take your bags?”
“No thanks, I traveled light.” I took the receipt dashed away from the desk. I grabbed Xikaelam and head for the elevator.
I pushed the button with a 6 on it. The doors closed and it began to move.
I couldn’t help, but feel that this is going too smooth of a plan. There’s got to be something that will come in my way sooner or later, but I just can’t get my finger on it. By my way of thought, I feel as if something is following me. Something that is as powerful as me and waiting for the right moment of attack.
“DING!” The doors opened. I stepped out and head for the room.
With the card key she gave me, I opened the door and entered.
Report XLV.
I awaken with a warm breeze against me. I look around to find myself again in the desert. I try to stand, but it seems impossible. I look at my hands and feet, but don’t see them. I don’t see my body either! I’m buried in the sand. I nudge, but can’t get out. The more I move, the deeper I go.
I look up and here footsteps. Three knights come forth towards me. They stop in front of me and look down upon me. The main knight walks closer to me and kneels down. It was the same knight from last time. He looks at me straight in the eye and asks, “How do you feel to be buried by your own shame?”
I glare at him and spit at his helmet. I then grin and laugh a little. “Feels not half bad. It’s a bit cold down here, but I can get use to it.”
He stands and isn’t thrilled by the joke. He summons his massive Keyblade and begins to strike. Then another knight runs in front for protection. “Remember, we need him for the plan.” He said. He sounded around the same age as me. Did I know him?
The knight lowered his blade and looked at me. “He’s the only one who’s related to Xehanort.”
“Xehanort?” I interrupted, “What’s so special about him?”
“So you do know him.” He began again. He moved his hand out beneath me and the sand began to move. I popped out of the sand field and brushed off.
“What do you want to know about him?” I asked.
“Everything you know...”
The last knight moved forward. “Are you sure we should do this? Haven’t we caused enough trouble?”
“NO! I must know!” the main knight yelled.
“Or maybe your going too far with this.” said the young knight.
“Or I could just handle this myself! Now tell me boy!” he demanded as he grabbed me by my coat collar.
I just shook my head. “You sounding a lot like him I’ll say that now.”
I looked weak for his hand was shaking and dropped me. “That’s nonsense! I should just kill your friends here and now!” he yelled yet again as they all took form with sand.
I lifted my hand and shot him with Nothingness. It took a lot of strength, but he went flying. I lowered the burnt hand and looked at the younger knight. “I don’t know if I know you or not, but I know I can trust you. What’s going on?”
They both stood there astonished with silence. The younger one began, “You hold a key. You are one of them.” He pointed his hand out at the Keyblades. “And it seems that you never knew. Do you believe you could risk all to save all?”
I thought for a moment. “Trick question and that is undetermined. I don’t hold the future and there’s no coincidence in faith. My faith tells me to find my true and that’s what I’m exactly doing. If you’re going to stop me the process then I’ll just have to get through you too.” I summoned my staff at the end of my quote.
The female stood forward now, “It seems you hold much pride and dignity for what you believe in. You also hold much love.”
“Love? I can’t feel; I don’t have a heart.”
“Are you confident in that boy?” the main knight said. “You seem to hold enough to protect your loved one.”
I stood in silence by what he said.
“It’s simple,” the female began as she removed her helmet; “You have not a full heart, but remember better then other Nobodies. You should be the lucky one since your true’s heart I one of the purest. You don’t only seek only a heart, but loved ones. We are wondering why a bearer like you doesn’t seek the Heart, but the beings that have their own hearts. Do you want their hearts as well?”
“Of course not.” I explained, “The Heart is nothing to me right now. Since I have a mind like the Organization XIII members, I enjoy myself.”
“But how can you if you don’t have a Heart?” the main knight asked.
“Don’t confuse me.” I said with confidence, “I’m only a being, nothing special like you guys. Even though I don’t have much and sacrifice a lot, I still got followers who look up to me as I look up to them. No one tells me what to do especially guys like you.”
The knights looked at each other. The main and the young knights removed their helmets. “That’s a Heart talking.” The main said, “How is that possible within you?”
“Because I’m not an average looking Nobody...” I explained.
