They just keep comin'.
Report XIX.
Things were starting to come back to me, my memory. It all began to grow immensely and I couldn’t control it. Most of them showed Xemnas, The Superior. He was my mentor; he taught me everything I know. I just don’t understand on why he chose me, what do I have that he doesn’t? I know that I figured out that I’m far more powerful then he ever was. It’s just, was I suppose to be here? Am I meant to exist?
After walking around for awhile on giving myself a tour, I found a sign by a door that said ‘XVI. Xeggr – Shadow of Fallen Light’. I looked blankly at the stainless steel sign and entered the door with caution. The door swung open and there laid a room of furniture. There was a bed on the east wall facing forward and a desk against the north wall to the right of the door. A five drawer dresser was against the west wall close to the door. A closet door was at the east wall in the top right hand corner and another door beside it as the bathroom. On the north wall was a long wooden booth with pillows against the large inner window that was placed. And last was the bookshelf filled with dozens of books and information of things that I’ve studied.
I pace within the room looking around of all of my old things. At the same time, I’m wondering about something. There is no dust. Someone has bee within here, cleaning up and making sure nothing is amiss. I look at my bookshelf to find many glorious books. I remember them well and notice an old book. I pulled it out to find a photo album. I open it and look through it. I find pictures of me and other members. They are all mainly of Xirks, Xikaelam, and I. Their quite interesting for it looks like that we were actually having...fun.
I hear a knock on the side of the door wall to find Axel standing there. I instantly look over at him and close the book.
“The leader wants you to meet him in the throne room pronto.”
I put the album back and for the door. “Alright, and hey, thanks for the 100,000 Munny.”
Axel was shocked and then remembered me. “It was you?!?”
I smirked over at him and nodded my head and left the room.
He watched me as I walked away in silence. He smirked and wiped the bottom of his nose with right thumb. “That little b*****d.”
I found myself at these enormous doors of white. I sighed and pushed the doors open with might. A light glowed from with as I shielded my eyes. I moved my arm to reveal on what I was about to face. I see a circular room with thrones against the wall high and low. The floor has the symbol of the Organization, which looks sort of like a heart, and find Xemnas in the highest throne. I look up and walk towards him. I jump high, chair to chair, to find a seat on where I face him. I sat in the closest chair to him, to his right, and sat with my arms relaxed upon the arm rests.
He has an Organization XIII coat in his hands and threw it to me. “Put it on. It’s your right since your apart of the Organization XIII.”
I slip right through it and put the black gloves on that were within the pockets. I look over at him with curiosity. “Alright, give me answers.”
“I will as soon as you ask your questions.”
I give him a sleepy glare and sit forward. “How did I get here? Why am I here? Who the hell am I?!?”
“You got here by using the door, you’re here as to be number 16 of the 13th Order, and your Xeggr. Anymore questions? No? Then I must be off.”
I summoned my staff and hold it out to block his way. “Don’t be a smart a** with me. You’re the deep thinker around her so start acting it.” I de summon my weapon and just glare at him.
“Well, you appeared with Twilight Town. You had no clue on what you were doing. You were lost and juvenile, and yet, you were a Nobody with great hope and strength. So, I gave you a visit. We talked and I explained on who you were and why you were here. I let you be apart of our organization and made you a great member.
“You were so powerful and knowledgeable I didn’t know how to maintain you. You were a curious boy and always seemed to wonder very much. I so how trained you to maintain these thoughts and questions and it surprisingly worked by punishment. If you notice, there is a small scar on the back of your head.”
I reach behind my head to feel a small inner cut area.
“That would be by Xikaelam. That’s how you lost all of your memory on who you are.”
I looked down and didn’t know how to speak.
“Now, if you wish for answers I believe you should visit Xikaelam.” He jumped down and began towards the door. “Oh and by the way...” He looked over at me with his gold eyes. “Enjoy yourself.”
Report XX.
I leave the throne room and head for Xikaelam’s room. I am but only calm for I know a Nobody cannot feel any emotion whatsoever. As I approach the door, I wonder if she will be mad at me. Will she despise me? Will she even care about me anymore? There’s only one way to find out. I reach out and knock silently upon the door.
“Who is it?” said a calm, but quivering voice from the other side.
“It’s me, Xeggr... I’m here to talk.”
There was a pause for a moment and I hear footsteps come towards the door. She opens it slightly too only reveal her eye. “What do you want to talk about? I have nothing to share.”
“Yes you do. Xemnas sent me here. S-“
“Oh! N-Never mind t-then.” She said in a shaky tone, “Is he here?”
“Uh...no...You alright?”
She took a deep sigh and opened the door. “Thank you that he isn’t.” She was in her long coat and gloves but seem to be in a limp.
I walked in to just stand at the edge of the bed. “Do you despi-“
She then jumped forward to me and gave me a hug. “Good to see you again.”
“Uh...yeah. You too.” I sort of smiled when she did that.
She got off of me and sat on her bed. “So, what do you want to talk about?”
I crossed my arms and looked down at her. “About me. What do you know?”
“Well I...”
“You what?”
“I sorta almost killed you...”
I stood there puzzled to hear that. “Fun, what else IS new?”
“You see, I was assigned to destroy you since you were planning to betray us. That’s why Xemnas looked angry to find your return. I didn’t want to kill you, so I just knocked you out and sent you to the Twilight Town alleyways.”
“Knocked me out? You erased all of my memory! How could you do such a thing?”
“Does death sound better?”
“No, but you should’ve informed me and we could’ve escaped to not loose a thing!”
There was silence for she was looking for a back up answer to that. “Good point...”
I sighed and sat beside her. “It doesn’t matter anyways. The main thing that matters is that I’m back and in black.”
She giggled a little but looked down depressed. “I’m sorry...”
“Nah, don’t be.” I wrapped one arm around her. “It’s all my fault anyways. I should be sorry. I won’t abandon you again. Alright?”
“Yeah, whatever.” She smiled over at me.
I smiled and looked down. “Hey, I’ve always kept something from ya...”
She looked curious. “What is it?”
“Heh...well-“
A knock was interrupted by the door. “Hey! You in there Xeggr? What the hell are you doin’ with her?”
“Back off Xirks. Why don’t ya just go and actually do something with yourself.”
“Whatever man. Hope your not hurting her in there.” His voice began to fade for he was walking away.
I sighed and looked back at Xikaelam. She looked kind of disturbed by what was going on. “Sorry about that. Just an idiot doing what he pleases pretty much.”
“Yeah, now you know what I’ve been going through for the past few days.”
“Yeah...” I got up and headed for the door. “I’m gonna leave you now.”
“H-Hey! Where are you going?”
“Not sure, I might just try to relax and go to sleep.”
“Oh...alright. Well, goodnight.”
I opened the door and looked back at her. “’Night.”
Suddenly, as I walked out and started to close the door, she grabbed the side of the door and held it. “Wait a second. What was it that you wanted to tell me?”
My eyes widened and I looked down to hide my face. “Well uh... I’ll tell you later.”
She gave me a glare. “I’m stalking you. Better watch yourself.”
“Yeah, whatever.” I closed the door to head for my room.
Report XXI.
After a long sleep night, I notice to wake up in my old room. I felt a type of difference for being in this room again. It’s almost as if I really never belonged here, just an outcast for all to mock and laugh upon me. I got up out of bed and changed my clothes. I slipped into my Organization coat and put the gloves on that came with it. I opened the door with a serious face and left the room to head for my next mission.
I walk until I cone upon the new member. He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed by a door. He with his black hair covering the left eye and the bandana wrapped around it as well was just looking down with his eyes closed waiting for something. I continued to walk, until he stopped me. He had his right arm out holding his Buster Sword (1’2”width x 5’6”length sword) and the end was stabbed in the wall right in front of me. He looked up at me and gave me a dark glare looking as if death was fallen upon me.
I looked down at him and asked, “Need something?”
Bixyll nodded. “Advice. What do you know about this place? Any secrets?”
“I may know a few things, but for now, let me pass.”
“I’d rather not do that,” he stood up now still looking over at me, “You’re hiding something. Although your return was surprising for everyone, you seem to know something that all the other members don’t. Now, inform me now before I tear you apart limb from limb by this fascinating sword I got from a little Moogle.”
I examined the sword up and down. “It is rather nice. It holds a major dark aura around it though that seems to be coming from you. You must have the element of Darkness.”
He finally lowered his sword. “So, that’s what you have.”
“What do I hold that you seek?”
“Information and Bio on every member within the Organization XIII. You seem to even know further then The Superior himself from what I’ve heard from Xirks. Give me this information and I won’t bother you anymore.”
“And if I refuse?”
“I already gave you the information on that. Unless I’ll perform it right now if you truly want you answer.”
“No, that won’t be necessary.
“Alright then, lead the way.” He made his weapon disappear and watched me so I wouldn’t do anything tricky.
I pressed on forward for I knew I couldn’t get out of this. “We need to get two others unless you want more.”
“Who might those be?”
“XIV and XV.”
“Whatever...”
We went and retrieved Xirks and Xikaelam on our little quest for knowledge. Xirks seemed alright with this, but Xikaelam looked as though she had no information whatsoever on what was going on. She pretty much stayed close to me. “What’s going on Xeggr?” she asked walking right beside me. She looked back to see Bixyll and Xirks mumbling to each other then back at me.
“Relax will yeah? I have it all under control...for the time being.”
“What’s that suppose to mean?”
“Something’s come up alright? I had a dream of all four of us escaping from here. All the members were gone except for Xemnas and Roxas to remain. Roxas became whole with his true while Xemnas was still trying to retrieve Kingdom Hearts and ultimate power. Now, with the four of us still alive, that’s good. Just try to keep up as we try to get through this. Alright?”
She nodded and carried on by following me.
We finally arrived at my room with everyone gathered inside. I closed the door and locked it. Everyone looked over before me as I turned the lock. I turned around and noticed all of them giving me a curious look.
Xirks stepped forward and asked, “What’s going on here Xeggr?”
“Is there something going on at this moment?” Bixyll continued with another question.
I sighed and looked at all of them. “We don’t have much time. This is the closest shelter we have. Sora and his friends will be arriving here soon and many members have probably already fallen. We’re one of the last remaining members. We must stay put in here for the time being before everything is destroyed.”
Bixyll summoned his sword and held the end up to my throat. “You mean this is a trap?!?”
“Of course not.” I lowered the side of the blade with my right hand. “We all need to stick together before we die by Sora and his friends. We cannot be seen by them in any way, shape or form. Now, who’s with me?”
There was a pause of thought by the others. Xikaelam reached in with her knifed claws within her gloves with the stainless steel plate on to of her hand of the Nobody symbol on it. “I’m in.”
Xirks, with his dark claws sticking out from his knuckles, moved his hand in with a fist by Xikaelam’s. “Why not.”
Bixyll stood before himself and reached his sword in. “If it means anything towards me, I’m in.”
I summoned my staff and stabbed it to the ground. “Alright then, let’s get going.”
I moved towards my book shelf and pulled out a journal that was written on the cover ‘The Ansem Reports: 1-27’. The bookshelf began to move from its side and there was a staircase on the other side going down. It was very dark at the bottom and got dimmer from the top. I looked back and moved out of the way. “Xirks make you hand take fire, since you element is fire.”
Xirks made his hand take a reddish fire glow that wasn’t an ordinary fire color. He led the way down the stairs followed by me, Xikaelam, and Bixyll. “Where does this lead too?”
“To the main outside area. There’s a crease if you didn’t notice that is near the right side of the door. It took my awhile in my past to create this for I needed to plan the blueprints and right equipment to suffice to the process.”
We all walked quietly down until we reached a dead end. Xirks hit his head while I stopped with the others hitting me. “Move out of the way Xirks.”
He moved to the left side against the wall as I squeezed in front of him. He ended up moving behind me as I examined the wall to refresh my memory. “I didn’t finish...”
Bixyll seemed to be calm about this. “...you didn’t finish it? That’s sad...”
“That means were pretty much stuck right?” Xirks asked still holding his hand high for light.
I knocked upon the wall to see if it was hallow or not and to find that it was pretty deep. “Gonna take a lot to break this.”
Xikaelam was looking down to not show the color of her eyes for a moment. She looked up a smidge to only reveal her right eye. It was glowing of bright red and it was frowning with anger. With a deep, rough voice she said, “Move...out the way...”
Xirks and I looked back at her while Bixyll was leaning against the wall watching the show that was in front of him. “Do what now?” Xirks asked.
“I SAID MOVE DAMN IT!” she lifted her head from the cry she yelled upon while some spit came from her mouth. She had razor sharp teeth and a little foam was around the edge of her lips. Her ears were a little pointed and she was in a hunch position ready to take strike.
I pushed Xirks out of the way as I walked past her. “Don’t let it take you over. You may have the element of Moon, but don’t let it overwhelm you.” I whispered to her by the ear.
She slashed at me with her right hand to leave four scratches on the left cheek of my face. Xikaelam then charged to the door with her knives now turned into long katanas. She was within her berserk mode now.
Bixyll still leaned against the wall watching on what was going on. “Wow, anger management much?”
“She’s short temper,” I replied, “She gets it a lot whenever she’s stressed or mad that something goes wrong or gets in her way.”
“Man, I’ve seen her like this before. Look at her, she’s pretty much murderlizing the door there.”
Xikaelam was striking deep with her long claws creating a tunnel to get out on. I jumped in and helped by shooting the beams of my element. I figured out from the past on my element that it was called ‘Nothingness.’ It pretty much takes after Xemnas for he has it as well.
After about 5 minutes, we finally made it through the escape tunnel. I was relieved with air while Xikaelam was starting to calm down. She looked very week and was taking deep breaths leaning against the outside wall. Xirks and Bixyll were just normal and planning on what we should do next. I looked over at Xikaelam and she looked up at me.
“So,” Bixyll asked, “What do we do now?”
“Not sure,” I responded, “How about we find-“
Suddenly, Xikaelam fell over out cold from her berserk. I looked down at her then back at Bixyll, “Like I said, let’s find some shelter.”
“Let’s hurry then.” Xirks said as him and Bixyll both dashed away.
I went over to pick Xikaelam up and followed them as they ran.
