I feel a deep tear, a rift, in our communities. Not just in those; but in cities, countries, even the world. What's causing all of this? Technology. And I'm not talking about the type like in the 'Terminator' series. I'm talking about phones, computers, and even the internet. We may be able to contact one another from around the world, sure, but you know what? We're still sitting in bed or in our office cubical, alone like we were before we started texting on our phone to see how many friends were up or got on the computer to see what funny pictures our friends tagged us in on Facebook. All technology is doing is ripping people away from one another. Ten years ago, we used phones to talk to one another and be social. Now...? We have texting! But that leads to miscommunications and misunderstandings if we don't use an emoticon. God forbid we actually call someone now-a-days.
Technology will be the death of us, even if it is a slow, bleeding wound.

I like being able to have something to write in and would love comments of anyone reading the stories I may post in here.
