The young woman looked at the hospital, which part of it was on fire, and the other part was pouring out the red skinned devils. She thought for a moment and sighed, looked at Nova "You are not going to like this..." she said with an apologetic look on her face as she grabbed the top of the sewer grate and went down first then held out her arms "Nova, jump! I'll catch you!" she called softly to him and he whimpered before doing so. She caught him with a huff since he was a heavy dog. She set him down before she climbed back up and closed the grate head before she jumped down with her bow ready for anything that were to pop up. She headed to under the hospital since she didn't want to fight through a horde of zombies at all, especially now that she had a new companion that's only defense was biting its enemy. She shook her head before going down and holding out her arms "Come on, Nova! You gotta jump to me!" she said but he was whimpering in fear before she said in a commanding voice "Jump!!"

Nova's police training with his old master kicked into his brain and he abandoned his fears to jump into her arms faithfully. She was his new master now, and he was seeing her as the Alpha dog to take care of him. She caught him though barely was about not to fall into the water behind her. She didn't know if anything alive or dead was down here, and she didn't want them ambushing her while she was in waist high water with waste. She put Nova down and rubbed his ears "Good boy. Stick close" she said as she went up and put the sewer top back on so no surprises could fall down into the hole and sneak up behind them. She held her bow up as she slowly edger her way towards the emergency escape for the hospital, which was in the janitorial part of the hospital. She just hoped that there were little to no infected in that part since she knew if there were, she had no chance of getting her mother and Siren out of that room.

She slowly opened the door and peeked outside of the room. She heard gunshots and sighed in relief. Good, the military were distracting them while she snuck into the hall carefully with her new companion that seemed to freeze every now and then when he heard gunfire.

((No longer pumped because he no longer wants to roleplay with me. Can anyone else say 'Ouch'? Anyways, I have plenty of material for this series now, angel faces, so don't you worry.
