“Where do you think Linyt is?” asked the first boy.
“Beats me. She’s probably still asleep, you know how she gets before a big test.” The second boy commented.
The first one reared up in protest, “Don’t remind me,” he mumbled and let out a loud sigh of discontentment, “I’ve been studying all week, and probably still won’t ace it.”
“That’s the point though. The only people who’ve ever passed it_” The second began but was interrupted by a third boy.
“Was Ilk Maust, Founder of our school… and cheaters. And of course, no one can cheat on this test and get away with it.”
The second boy whispered, “They won’t be able to figure out how I did it. I’ve spent months developing my system, and they will never be able to figure out how I did it.”
“First off, you said the same thing twice. Second, you could have been spending those months studying instead of cheating, besides, how can you get away with it? Anyone who scores higher than seventy five percent is interrogated by the head council.” The first one asked, not trying to hide the fact that he thought his friend’s plan would end in failure.
“You’ll see.” Was all the second boy would say afterwards.
The door to the classroom opened up, four seconds before class started, and Linyt jogged in, making it to her desk just as the doors automatically closed locking out anyone who was late.
