Linyt didn’t like that spell. It was creepy, it was cheap, and it was a big drain on her, but it really got the job done when she needed a job done. She walked around like they did, slow steps, heavy and thudding. She kept quiet though, letting the undead corpses fill the cave with their moans. She made her way through and into the exit passage way. She could hear one of them screaming in pain as they were surrounded by the zombies. She was almost out, she could feel light fighting back against the shadows, when suddenly, she felt something wrap around her foot, and push a sharp pain into her leg. She tripped and fell face forward, hitting the ground and bruising the front of her body. The ground was hard. She turned around to see Kell. He stood above her with a Venus fly trap growing on each shoulder. She recognized the look on his face. He rarely got like this, and she had only seen him like this once before, and it was when a fire duel between a freshmen and Trit took a turn for the worse, Kell almost killed the poor kid. Linyt realized that hearing his own brother be devoured by the undead might have freaked him out a bit. Linyt watched as he started his spell, unable to even try to form another word, she was out of juice.
“Sato Necto Quad Trucido.” He said, forcing his will upon the plants, they came towards her and wrapped and bit and twisted around her. The pain felt real, so real.
She lie on the ground, she was about to lose the test, and right at the end. They were wrong about this test being impossible; it was so easy to kill each other.
