Dude, so, I was at Borders yesterday, like I said. I bought myself a small stack of new manga, among those being Negima! v.21. I finished reading a novel I'd been working my way through, and today, after dying my hair and finding myself with nothing to do, I decided to get started on the manga.

So, I picked up my Negima!, and started to read. A few pages in, maybe about twenty...I find out that a page has been ripped out of the book.

In the binding was a small scrap of said page, still hanging on while the rest of it was gone. Completely gone.

What the s**t, dude? I didn't think anyone actually went into bookstores and tore pages out of books. *Distressed* Always been a bookworm, always been freakish about keep my books (and other things) in good condition. Seeing a page torn out of a book is almost offensive to me.

I had to dig through the trash in the garage for a bit to find the receipt, and my brother offered to take it back for me. He said they'd probably accuse me of having ripped the page out myself if I tried. I dunno why, but whatever. I'm just sad about it. That poor manga. I wonder if the same person ruined any other parts of the book.
