Let me explain something. My friend Luu recently got back form college, so we decided to hang out today.
So, when we were in Borders, there was twilight stuff everywhere, and Luu and I started mocking the twifans by speaking in really high-pitched girly voices.
Luu: Amagad. [Supposed to sounds like "oh my god"]
Me: amagad.
Luu: amagad. I like, totally love twilight
Me: amagad, like, me too!
Luu: amagad, like, jacob is totally hot.
Me: Nuh-uh.
Luu: amagad, are you like, team edward?
Me: Like, totally.
Luu: amagad, no way.
Me: Ya wai.
Luu: amagad, I can't believe you.
Me: [After small pause] amagad, you're such a b***h.
And then we both started giggling/laughing and trying not to outright crack up. The way I said the last line was hilarious. From then on, every time I saw something twilight-related, I went "amagad", and then Luu would join me in chanting "amagad. Amagad" until we were out of view of the stuff.
There was one point where I saw a twilight book, and I started with my "amagad" routine, and then Luu pointed to this book, and I went "amagad", and when he pointed to the book, immediately after, a startled "what the ******** em gee, double-you tee ef, BBQ." The cover of the book...it wass called something like "You'd Better Not Cry", and it had a picture of Santa from the back, flashing...someone. It was slightly traumatic.
But now I've developed an official "twilight voice". Amagad.
