So, I talked to mom over breakfast this morning, and she's agreed to pay for my plane ticket and registration fee for the Anime Expo. ALRIGHT!
I've estimated anywhere from $320-$420. I mean, that's what I'll have by then, on top of the $170 (or something like that)I have at the moment. See, my brother pays me $20/week to help my niece with her HW, so by the Expo, I'll have anywhere from $320-$420, give or take some for breaks or whatever else. Then mom said she'd pay me an additional $20/week to help keep the kitchen clean. So, this means I might even have twice that amount and then some. After all, my niece has summer vacation, but dirty dishes and counters do not.
I'm excited. I'll have upwards of $800 come Expo time, which is $100 more than I had last year. Of course, I need some of that to live off of, since I'll be staying for longer than just the Expo. Also have to worry about possible hotel fees, since Kage, his friends and I might get a hotel this year. Easier than a half hour bus-ride to the subway, which takes another like, fifteen mins, and then walking to the convention center
Anyways, I'm excited. I'm going to try and register by next week, and get a plane ticket within the next month or so.
