Ahh, let's just start the story shall we?
-------------------------------------------------
It's been too long. Way too long. And Sungmin couldn't take it anymore. He was about to rip his hair out and start screaming at the top of his lungs for as long as he could. He knew he couldn't. His voice is gone, and everything else he desired is gone too. He doesn't want to listen to music. It reminds him too much of what he lost. He doesn't want to cook ramen. It reminds him too much of what he lost. He doesn't even want to sleep. It reminds him too much of what he lost. He didn't expect to lose what he lost. Yet, he lost it. Nobody could make him feel better. Not even the supporting messages sent by his loving E.L.F. members. He just wants to lay on the couch, stay still, and stare into space and do absolutely nothing. He doesn't want to listen to music, eat, or sleep. Just stay there and stare.

Kangin, who's been watching all this was utterly speechless. He hated seeing his younger brother this way. It really disappointed him. He just wanted to approach whatever hurted him and fork him at the neck and choke him. No. Control your anger. he thought to himself, breathing and calming his ferocious anger down. He couldn't do anything to help the younger other. Just ask the eldest for advice.

The eldest. The one who had the most experience in most things than any other member. He decided to leave the living room and head towards the eldest's room.

Kangin approached the door of his hyung, and took in a deep breath before knocking and making a hollow tap, tap, tap noise onto the door, making the person behind it respond, "Come in." Kangin turned the goldish doorknob and entered the room. The eldest, also known as Eeteuk, was sitting on his bed, typing away on his laptop. Once again, he heard a similar tap, tap, tap from the computer keyboard that Eeteuk's sugar-rushed fingers pressed onto to let the characters move across the screen above them. "What do you need, Kangin?" Eeteuk asked, not keeping his eyes off the monitor. "I need advice, again." Kangin said, holding onto the hem of his shirt. Eeteuk looked up towards the other, and nodded. He gently closed his laptop and set it onto the side of his bed. He sat up and leaned his back onto the wall behind him, and wrapped his arms around his knees, practically hugging them.

"What do you need help with?" Eeteuk asked. He gestured Kangin to close the door and sit on the chair across from the bed. Kangin responded accordingly and heard another tap from the door closing and creaking from the old, wooden chair that he sat on. "It's Sungmin. He is so depressed, and I hate seeing him like this. What should I do?" Kangin asked. Eeteuk looked up into the ceiling, and Kangin mirrored his actions, trying to see if there's an answer on the ceiling where Eeteuk would read off of. No luck. Eeteuk looked back towards the other, and answered, "I really don't know what to say, but I recommend you should try to resolve things between the thing or person that's bothering Sungmin and try to see what's on their mind." Kangin nodded, amazed that he didn't think of that. "Thank you, hyung. Once again, you have amazed me with your wisdom." Kangin stood up, and bowed, smiling towards the eldest. The elder smiled back, and resumed to his typing on the laptop he picked up from the side of the bed. Once again, before Kangin left, he heard the tap, tap, tap of the computer as he left the room.

Kangin took one glance at the living room to see if Sungmin was there. He was gone. Kangin looked around. He ran to the restroom, Ryeowook's room, and other rooms that he could think of. He finally saw the younger in the kitchen, standing in front of the sink pouring with water. Kangin slowly approached the younger, and tapped him on the shoulder. He heard a fast version of tapping, tap-tap taptaptap tap, tap from the water running in the sink and going down the drain. "What are you doing, Minnah?" Kangin asked. Sungmin, who didn't look back to see who it was, just shrugged and said, "Watching water." Kangin pouted, then responded, "I don't think you should leave the water running. It's going to waste the water bill and Manager hyung will get mad." As soon as Kangin rose his hand to turn off the water, Sungmin softly blurted, "Leave the water running. Please." Kangin slowly dropped his hand towards his side, and sighed. Kangin turned around and decided to leave Sungmin alone. Give him some alone time.

Kangin headed towards another room, but it wasn't Sungmin's, Eeteuk's, or his. It was someone else's. Someone he definately needed to talk to. He knocked on the door, and waited for a response. Instead, the door opened automatically and he entered the dark, gloomy room. He heard the tap, tap, tap of the door creaking. Not exactly a "tap" but you get what we're saying. He saw Kyuhyun laying on the bed and staring in the ceiling. He was also throwing a plushie onto the ceiling, catching it, and throwing it back. Once again, tap, tap, tap everytime the stuffed animal's plastic black nose hit the ceiling. "What do you need, hyung?" Kyuhyun asked, continuously throwing the doll up and down, up and down. "You need to get back together with Sungmin. He's miserable, and he's wasting water." Kangin looked back and still heard the fast tapping from the water running in the kitchen and Sungmin observing it. "Sorry, I can't." Kyuhyun said, still throwing the doll up towards the ceiling.

Kangin suddenly heard a quiet tap. He thought at first he was hearing things, until he heard it again, but it was getting louder. Maybe because that was the current tapping that he was focusing on. The tapping from the stuffed animal's nose disappeared, and so did the fast tapping of the water in the kitchen faded away as well. He heard this soft tapping that was slow, real slow. Slower than those slow songs you expect the DJ to play in proms and balls. Kangin approached Kyuhyun and saw where the tapping was from. Kyuhyun's tear ducts to the pillow. Kyuhyun turned his head and saw Kangin, who caught the bear and threw it aside. "You miss Sungmin too." Kangin stated, making the sniffling from Kyuhyun add on with the tapping onto his pillow. Kyuhyun turned his whole body towards his hyung, and nodded. Kangin sighed, and lowered his shoulders. Then, he grabbed the small, gentle hands of Kyuhyun and rose the other up, still with red, teary eyes. Kangin pursed his lips and wiped the tears and tapping away from Kyuhyun. "Now, let's solve this problem."

Kangin headed towards the living room, still holding Kyuhyun's hand, and saw Sungmin back into the living room, laying on the couch. His head on the armrest, his right arm hanging off the edge of the couch, and his eyes red and swollen-like. Kangin headed towards Sungmin and said, "Sungmin." the other looked up, and saw Kyuhyun, who was also teary eyed and red from crying. "This whole time, both of you missed each other, and you both didn't even know it." complete silence. Kangin continued, "You both have been suffering through the loss of each other, without knowing the other missed you just as much as you missed them." both Kyuhyun and Sungmin started to tear up once again. "I suggest you both say sorry and---" Kangin paused when the grip of Kyuhyun's hand released and Sungmin got up from the couch, and they both embraced each other through love.

Kangin smiled and saw both of his maknaes crying and echoing, "I'm sorry" towards each other and embracing even tighter. He loved the image of it. Reminds him of other experiences he had. Then, suddenly, he wanted them both to stop crying and go spend some time together, but hey. They're enjoying themselves. I'll just leave the water running. Kangin thought as he left the living room and hearing the distant tapping of the maknaes' tears. Tap. tap.. tap...
