The next morning...

Yoochun slowly opened his eyes, and wondered where he was. "Where am I?" he thought to himself. He looked around, unfamiliar of the place, and tried to sit up, but couldn't. Why? Because Junsu was laying on his stomach. He scoffed, and pushed Junsu to the floor. "Get off me your perv! I need my space, you know!" Junsu quickly stood up, then asked, "Do you even remember coming in here? YOU CAME TO ME, NOT ME TO YOU!!!" Yoochun sat up, and jumped up, standing in front of Junsu. "But I wasn't the one laying on my own stomach, now was I? Where am I, anyway?" Junsu sighed, and answered, "You're in my house. You knocked on my door, drunk, and fell asleep on my bed." Yoochun laughed out loud, then glared, "I know EXACTLY what you did. You MADE me drunk, without me knowing, then took me here and---" he gasped. He wrapped his arms around himself, then said, "You did something to me, DIDN'T YOU?!?!" Junsu's eyes widened, then said, "I DIDN'T!!! IF YOU WANT A SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION, THEN FINE! I'LL GIVE YOU ONE!" Yoochun scratched his head, then asked, "What's that?" Junsu groaned out loud, rolling his eyes to the ceiling. "Well, sorry for not being so intelligent! It's not common for someone like me to be as smart as you!" Junsu looked at Yoochun, and asked, "You think I'm smart?"

Yoochun scoffed, then exclaimed, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The whole SCHOOL knows you're the smartest kid in the grade!" The whole room went into complete silence. Yoochun still didn't understand that he gave a compliment to Junsu. "You just..." "WHAT?! WHAT DID I DO???" Junsu tilted his head, then answered, "You just complimented me." Yoochun's glare changed into round eyes, shocked he didn't realize that he complimented someone he didn't REALLY like. "I-I did not!" Junsu nodded, "Yes you did. You stated that I was smart, which is a compliment to the person who wants to be smart. After all," Junsu shrugged. "everyone wants to be smart. I'm pretty sure even YOU wanna be smart too." Yoochun crossed his arms, then asked, "Did you just call me dumb?" Junu shrugged, answering honestly, "Honestly, even you know that you have a lower IQ than the average high school student. And I know you weren't always like this. In fact, we used to be lab partners." "LIAR!" Yoochun exclaimed. Junsu sighed, and sat down on his chair. "Allow me to explain what happened, 3 years ago..."

FLASHBACK

"Okay, everyone! Get into your seats!" the teacher shouted. All the students were rushing to get their items needed for class and hear what the teacher has to say. "Now, today, as I mentioned yesterday, we are going to work on liquid compounds. And now, I will pair everyone up." All the students started looking around and gesturing their friends that they want to become partners. Except one. Junsu was listening to the teacher, seeing who he was going to get paired up with. "Sunday goes with Rina." two girls squealed, and sat down on the nearest table and started their project. "Yunho works with Heechul." Finally, when it got down to the last two students, the only students left in the group, were Junsu and Yoochun. "And you two work together. Alright, get started if you haven't already!"

Yoochun walked up to Junsu happily, then said, "Hi! I'm Yoochun." Junsu smiled back, and answered, "I'm Junsu."

When they were working together, Yoochun had no clue what to do. "So, do I mix this with this?" he asked Junsu. Junsu exclaimed, "No! Don't!" he stopped Yoochun before he mixed two liquids in test tubes. "You're going to make an explosion if you don't do it right! This is what you should do..." "OH!!! I get it now! Thanks! You're such a kind friend." Junsu nodded, and went back to his project...

Yoochun laid back on Junsu's bed, then said, "I can't believe it." he sat back up. "Why did you remember something that was 3 years old?" Junsu shrugged, then answered, "Because I have the tendency to remember unusual things. And besides, you were the first person to ever be nice to me, excluding my parents." Yoochun sighed. He couldn't believe that he was the first person to ever talk with Junsu. Another thing he couldn't believe was that Junsu remembered it, and he didn't. Well, he wasn't TOO shocked about it... He couldn't even remember what happened with him last night. But he felt bad that he was using Junsu just to get the $100,000 prize and to get Yunho's attention back. He's starting to think, was it worth it to use someone as lonely as Junsu just to get whatever he wants?

JaeJoong and Yunho were sitting across from each other in the living room, separated by a coffee table. "So, you and Changmin think that me and Yoochun are up to something?" JaeJoong shook his head, then answered, "It's mostly Changmin. He sorta trusts you, but Yoochun, he's a bit concerned of. That's why I'm here. I'm trying to figure out what's going down." Yunho shrugged, "Well, my reputation is... And our relationship, with Yoochun, is kinda going down too. Here's the whole story..."

Changmin called JaeJoong about 5 times in a row, but he still didn't answer the phone. What could he be doing? He thought. First Junsu, then Yunho, could it be Yoochun this time? Nah, he doesn't trust him enough. He suddenly heard his mom call his name, "Changminnah!" "Coming!" he called out.

He walked into the living room, and saw his mom holding a piece of paper. "Changminnah, what's this?" Oh man, did she see me when I was-- "What's what?" "This." she held out a piece of paper that read it big, bold letters, 'Best Friend Contest - September 19th' "Oh ummm... That's something... for... me and JaeJoong.. We're going to enter it, hopefully.." Changmin's mother nodded her head, then asked, "Is it something I have to attend to? Because you know about my busy schedule.." Changmin answered, "I'm aware. And I don't think you have to go." "Okay, just wanted to ask that.." "'Kay mom." @
