Yesung was standing in front of the door, biting his lip from nervousness. He's not my playmate. He's not my playmate. he thought. He looked over towards his bear. "What's wrong?" Silence. Yesung walked up to his bed, and sat down next to the bear. "No! I'm not meeting anyone!" He watched the bear stare at him blankly. Yesung sighed. "Fine. I found someone. So what? At least he's nice to me, unlike you!" The bear sat there quietly. "I know I said you're the only one for me, but that was when I was 10 years old!" The bear sat there, staring. "You don't even know this person, and you're telling me to ditch him?!" Yesung stood up quickly. "Maybe YOU'RE the one I need to ditch! You've been taken control over me ever since I was little!" No answer. "For example, you kept telling me to watch that pretty noona in the locker room, and guess who's the one who got whipped with a towel?!" Still no answer. "Yeah, that's right. ME! And you just snickered off and getting away with it! Well, that's no more! I'm going to tell Kangin to take you somewhere else!" Once again, no answer. "Where, you ask? Go-go-go- GO LIVE WITH A HOBO!!!" complete silence.
Kangin sat down on the couch next to Eeteuk, gently putting his arm around Eeteuk. Eeteuk laid his head onto Kangin's shoulder. "I feel as if Yesung's growing up real fast." Kangin nodded, "Yup." Eeteuk gasped, "Oh noes!" Kangin looked over towards Eeteuk, "What?" Eeteuk crossed his arms, "If Yesunggie is growing up, that means I'm getting old!" Kangin laughed, "You just noticed that?" Eeteuk threw a glare at Kangin. Kangin studdered, "Uh... uh... Me too!" Eeteuk sighed, then released all tensions from his body, going to back to leaning his head on Kangin's shoulder. "Kangin?" "Hmmm?" "Don't you wish time didn't go by so fast?" "Mmmm hmmmm..." "Remember when Yesung was little?" "Hmmm..."
KANGIN'S FLASHBACK...
"Daddy!! Daddy daddy daddy~" Yesung ran across the living room, looking for me. "What is it?" I called out. "Where's mommy?" I shouted louder, acting like I didn't hear him. "What did you say? You got to come in here." Yesung whined, "Nooo~ I can't go in your room. It's ruuuuude!" Kangin sighed, "It's okay. I gave you permission to come in." My door slowly opened, and I saw adorable little Yesung standing in front of the door. "Daddy, where's mommy?" I sighed, "She's in work. She'll be back soon." Yesung jumped up and down. "I want mommy now! I wanna show her something~" I closed the magazine I was reading, then said, "Look. It only passed 15 minutes since mommy left. As much as I would like to see her now, we both have to wait." Yesung pouted, then threw himself to the floor. He murmured a little, "Mommy..." then slowly fell asleep on the floor. Finally... I thought.
6:00 PM and Eeteuk came home from the door. Yesung was waiting in front of the door, with his little "present" he made for his mom. (It was his birthday, you know...). When the door opened, Yesunggie shouted, "Mommy!" Eeteuk laughed out loud, then said, "Come here, you!" and gave him a big hug. I was REALLY happy to see him. Not only did I get Yesung to settle down, I saw the only person I fell in love with. This is pretty much what we do daily, but today was REALLY special. "Mommy, mommy, look!" Yesung lifted up a big wrapped up box, with a neatly tied ribbon on the top. Eeteuk gasped, "My! What a fine gift. Thank you, Sunggie."
After that day, it just felt as if Yesung was a different person. He started finding other people to date and mingle with, and started calling his "mom" and "dad" by their names. He wasn't the little toddler who wore Snoopy clothes and Pingu socks anymore. He was a teenage boy, wearing darkish clothes and eyeliner. But there was one habit he didn't break for almost 20 years: Talking with his teddy bear.. He started--
"Kangin? Kaaaaaaaangin?" Kangin shook his head, shaking himself out of the flashback, then said, "Yes?" he looked over towards Eeteuk. His brows rose up, then asked sweetly, "What are you thinking about?" Kangin shook his head, "Nothing. Just shocked that Yesung grew up real fast." Eeteuk smiled, then wrapped his arms around Kangin's middle. There's another thing that hasn't changed...
Ryeowook was thinking about Yesung, and everything else about him. His sweet funny personality, his soft hair, his gentle eyes, and his soft, pale skin. Ryeowook sighed everytime he thought about him, amazed how someone can be so perfect. So flawless. He looked at his phone, and went into his Contacts. He saw Yesung's name and his phone number next to it. Should I? Should I not? he thought. His thumb went on the "Dial" button, then moved back. On Dial, off Dial. "Grrr!!! What do I do? And if I do it, what should I say? And if I say anything, what do I say AFTER that?" he asked himself. "Ryeowook! Hurry up and get into the living room now!" Ryeowook sighed, "I'm COMING!!!! Geesh, no patience whatsoever!" he closed his phone, and walked out of his room. @
