10 years later...

"Okay everyone, remember to stay together when we cross the street! I am not paying your medical bills when you get into an accident!!!!" Kangin shouted. The kids chuckled, and ran to the crossing light. As they all were waiting for the light to turn green, Kangin, on the other hand, was sitting on a bench next to the hospital. He was thinking about Eeteuk, who left him 10 years ago. Then suddenly, two kids came up to him, and one kid asked, "Hey, what are you thinking about?" the other kid chuckled, then said, "Yeah. You thinking about your giiiiiiiiiiirlfriend???" Kangin got mad, then started running after the kids. When he frustrated watching the kids leave, he turned around to sit back down onto the bench, but when he turned around, he saw someone he was familiar with. It was Eeteuk.

Kangin gasped and said, "Eeteuk?" Eeteuk looked at Kangin closely, then said, "Kangin? Is that you?" Kangin replied, "Uh huh." Eeteuk gasped, then said, "Kangin!" he gave Kangin a hug. "It's been so long since I've seen you!" Kangin hugged back, then said, "Yeah." They both sighed, still holding onto each other, glad to see each other again.

They were sitting on the bench, talking to each other, seeing what's going on in each other's lives. "And that's why I got the job of being a daycare teacher." Kangin said. Eeteuk nodded. "So, enough about my life, tell me what's going on in yours." Eeteuk sighed, then sat up. "Well, let see..." Eeteuk thought for a moment. "I started a job as a lawyer, then lost my job a few years later, because--" Eeteuk paused. Kangin tilt his head, curious on what Eeteuk is about to say. Eeteuk sighed, then said, "It's because I was sick. Badly sick that I couldn't keep my job." Kangin asked, "What are you sick with?" Eeteuk looked down, then softly said, "Cancer. Throat cancer." Kangin gasped. "C-c-c-cancer??"

The next day, Kangin went to the same hospital that Eeteuk was in. He went to the front desk, and saw a nurse sitting in the front desk. The nurse looked up, and saw Kangin. She saw that he was someone that she wanted to get to know... REALLY know... "Hello there. How may I help you?" she asked flirtatiously. Kangin didn't notice, then asked, "Hi. Can you tell me what room Eeteuk is in?" She sighed, then said, "Room 214." Kangin nodded. "Thank you." The nurse sighed, then said, "No problem~" Kangin was looking around for Eeteuk's room to pay him a little visit.

When he finally found Eeteuk's room, he knocked on the door, and slowly opened the door. "Eeteuk hyung?" Kangin softly called out. "Come in." a voice softly said. Kangin walked in, and saw Eeteuk lying on his side on the bed. "Hey Kanginnie." Eeteuk said. Kangin sat down on a chair next to the bed. "Hey hyung." Kangin said. "How are you?" Eeteuk asked. He coughed. Kangin sighed, then answered, "I'm good. But I'm worried about you. After being sick for a long time and all." Eeteuk smiled weakly, then said, "I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Kangin quickly answered, "If you were fine, then you would be as healthy as fruits!" Eeteuk pouted, then said, "Fruits are healthy, unless they're badly bruised or if they're rotten." Kangin shrugged, then said, "True."

Eeteuk suddenly got a funny memory, and started laughing. "Why you laughing?" Kangin asked. Eeteuk said, "Remember the days when we were little? 10 years ago?" Kangin smiled then nodded. "We were REALLY close. Especially the time when we slept on the same bed..." Kangin shrugged, then said, "Believe it or not, that was actually quite comfortable." Eeteuk threw Kangin a weird look. Kangin's eyes widened, then said, "I said nothing!" Eeteuk chuckled, then coughed some more. @
