I rented a few new games last week and I must say, i was verily impressed. Dragonball Sagas was a great game, alas, short, but great none the less. It's main derivitave in it's length was only reaching the end of the Cell Saga, and leaving out, possibely the longest one, Buu. Aside from that, gameplay was great, with very few flaws, many of which were in 2 player mode, and caused by screen limitations. The loading screens inbetween levels were incredible, all portraying cutscenes, which were various clips taken from the actual show, some spiffed up a bit (like the first one) and shown in a manner making the 2nd player character look/sound like he actually did something, even if he realy didn't in the show.
Dragonball Z: Budokai 3, not new, but I bought it, and it's as good as I remembered, working on unlocking characters solely now, and happy with my new ssj4 transformations, more on this later perhaps.
Dynasty Warriors 5, god it's incredible, graphics, major increase, Musou mode, vastly improved, each level specific to your character, thick, interesting story. Gameplay generaly the same, fighting may be different, I am unsure as the character I'm using (Sun Quan) I didn't exactly use, more than twice, in DW4/XL. However, the new characters are interesting enough, Cao Pi being the one my friend was using with me, his weapon reminds me of Darth Maul, only blades instead of energy. They also brought back the weapon style from Dynasty Warriors 3 (That was tested in Samurai Warriors aswell) and it is wonderful. Now there is less obligation to attempt painstaking, and verily dangerous combos against generals for extra weapon exp.
Well that's all for now, maybe a life update after midterms, but till then, random stuff I find interesting. sweatdrop
