I had a chat with Alex after school today. We walked over to the park and talked about what was going on.
I'm actually really glad we had this talk, it cleared up a lot of things.
Looking back on it, some parts of how we were acting before Monica's party were kind of insensitive of us. I'd never actually realized it, but it was.
She also explained in which ways she meant some things, not in the way that we interpreted them. I think it was mostly because it was what we were expecting, but it wasnt' the case.
Anyways, I'm actually not going to go into details because I want all of you to work stuff out with her on your own, not just take my word for it and go.
The healing process has begun, but it'll still take a while for us to get back to somewhere close to where we were before.
I think all I can really do now is give us some time.
