So I guess it's time for me to rant......hnummummnummmm.....

Urm.....let's see here.......*starts digging through various files looking for a rant topic*......Nope......done that one already..........myuuughhhh......nooooooo..........

! Oh, okay, I think I've got one.

So I just got home from Japan Town. Well, while I was there, I stopped by the Kinokuniya Bookstore like I always do. whee It's the best source for Yaoi manga!

So i pick up vol.2 of the Yaoi series Little Butterfly, as well as a Rie Fu Cd, vol.8 of PHD Phantasy Degree, and a FLCL poster. I take the stuff up to the register and the Japanese( whee )lady says that it all costs $77.68. So I pay.

While she's putting my stuff into a bag(and I'm thinking "yay! I finally get some more Yaoi!" wink she sees a sticker on the back of the manga that says"18+." eek

She looks up at me and says "can I see your ID?"

eek eek eek

"Umm, well...I don't....."I just cut myself off.

She says "you can't buy it then."

So I have to stand there in embarrassment while she does some stuff, gives me back my cash, and puts the book elsewhere.

So that is the tale of my unsuccessful, not exactly purchase of a Yaoi manga.

crying I wanted vol.2......they never have it at Borders......


And usually, it's more of an "you're old enough to pay so we dont care! you can buy this!" sort of case.

But not this time...... crying
