Kagome and Sango, as soon as Miroku had finished changing Seiko's bandages, ran over and glomped her. "WE WERE SO WORRIED!" they shrieked. "WE THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA DIE!"
"Well, I'm okay now, girls... Kagome, would you move your foot... it's hitting my bandages...No! Move it the other way! Ouch!"
For the next few minutes, the girls refused to let go of her, still convinced that she could fall over dead at any time. When they finally did leave, it was because Sumi physically dragged them away.
Miroku, meanwhile, was assessing his position. "Let's see. In the woods with two women, four kids, Kirara, and a God-only-knows-how-old minion. The girls get hysterical, the boys hate each other with every fiber of their being, Jaken doesn't help out much, and the women are both demons... well, at least, part demon." A thought suddenly struck him. 'But if I could get Jaken and the kids away...' A grin spread across his face and he started laughing hysterically.
Everyone turned to stare, except for Seiko who had gone back to trying to remember saying "mine" to Miroku.
"Lord monk?" Sumi asked. "Is everything okay...?"
"Okay? Okay? Of course it's okay! Why wouldn't it be? I'm all alone in the woods with four little kids, a demon's servant, and two beautiful women, one of which called me hers! What isn't okay about that?" He went back to his hysterical laughter.
"I think someone needs to go to the Funny Farm..." Sango whispered to Kagome, who nodded in agreement.
"Now, girls, that's not very nice to say about Lord Miroku, be nice," Sumi said. She looked back over to Seiko. "I think the stress is getting to him."
"What? What happened?" Seiko jerked up out of her pondering and noticed the monk laughing hysterically. "Oh... that's... kind of creepy..."
"Yeah. Little bit..."
