Sesshoumaru kept trying to revive and heal Seiko unsuccessfully. Sumi was trying to calm down the girls, who were still sobbing hysterically. Miroku was pacing back and forth, thinking, and Jaken was once again digging through their stuff.
"Aha!" he said.
Everyone looked up, even the hysterical Kagome and Sango. "What?"
"Just as I thought! That isn't the Tensaiga! THIS is!" Jaken held up another sword, slightly different than the one Sesshoumaru was still frantically waving back and forth.
"So," Miroku said, walking over to Jaken and grabbing the Tensaiga, "if this is the Tensaiga, what's that?"
"That would be the Tokijin, M'lord Sesshoumaru's prized weapon."
Miroku took the Tensaiga over to where Seiko was still lying. He waved it over her. Nothing. "ABRA KADABRA!" Still nothing. He sighed and handed it to Sesshoumaru. "Here, you do it."
Sesshoumaru dropped the Tokijin and took the Tensaiga. Suddenly he could see the messengers of the Underworld creeping closer and closer to Seiko's body. He clumsily held the sword in his hand and poked at them, driving them back.
To everyone else, this looked extremely funny. They couldn't see anything except Sesshoumaru poking the air. But as they watched, Seiko's wounds began to heal slightly.
When Sesshoumaru seemed satisfied that all the imps were gone, he had a triumphant look on his face and stuck the end of the sword in the ground.
Seiko was still bleeding, but not as bad as before. She groaned slightly. She opened her eyes slightly and saw Miroku sitting next to her. "Mine," she whispered.
The look of relief on his face became a look of confusion, but before he could ask what in the hell she was talking about, she fell asleep.

That evening, Seiko woke up fully and began complaining loudly that she was hungry.
Jaken took her a bowl of ramen noodles Miroku had cooked after digging them out of Kagome's backpack. "You sound like a four-year-old," he said.
"Well, I've been unconscious for a day, I'm still in pain, YOU gave them the wrong sword to heal me, is it a crime to be hungry?"
He sighed and walked back to the fire, muttering that he supposed not.
After she was finished stuffing her face with ramen, Miroku walked over to her to change her bandages. She cursed at him under her breath several times as he poked or prodded particularly sore spots.
"Do you want to wash your mouth out with soap again?" he asked irritably after being cursed at for the fifth time.
"I'm sorry, but that HURTS!"
He finished bandaging the gash and reported that at least it was looking a lot better. Then he lowered his voice and asked, "Why did you say 'Mine' earlier?"
"What...?"
"Earlier, when you woke up the first time, you looked at me and said 'Mine.'"
"I WHAT?"
"You looked up at me and said, 'Mine.' What was that about?"
Seiko's brow furrowed as she thought. "I didn't... I don't remember that..."
Miroku let the subject drop since she obviously couldn't remember saying it. "Never mind. Just forget it."
