Yesturday was my last day of school for five weeks and my class had a little party to selibrate that. The main we did was a gingerbread house making contest but we didn't only have to make ginger bread houses, we could anything! My team made a town with houses (or shops, I don't know which) in the back, a ice rink in the middle, and a huge mansion off the the side. Someone also brought a plastic christmas tree and electric, miniture, light post. It was realy hard to make since we had to make the house (or shops) out of grahm crackers and not ginger bread. We used a frosting to stinck it on made for ginger bread....it was wierd. The ice rink was made out of a plastic paper plate covered in blue seran wrap. The huge mansion was made out of boxes covered in grahm crackers and everything (including the ground and except for the lamp) was covered in poudered sugar.
In the end I had nerds (which we used for christmas light) were in my shirt, I had poudered sugar on my face, my pants were sticky with the frosting with poudered sugar on it, my hands were green from dying marshmellows green (it took forever to get it off! And now my fingernails are green), some of the buildings were messed up, and my team lost. At least I had fun doing it! Well, at least I hope I did.... Yes I did. Excpelcialy when I went around saying I was the grinch because my hands green. mrgreen
The party also had contests and a lot of yummy food! We also did a secrete snowflake thing (its suppost to my secrete santa but we couldn't calll it that, it would be aginst school policy) and I got a stuffed ginger bread man thats wearing a scarf and hat on.
