I was reading Mitsukazu Mihara's manga "beautiful people" Linky! during church the other day, yes I know I'm bad. My friend, we shall call her "Dani", was sitting in front of me. Suddenly I realized that her hair was the right length for cosplaying as the stitchy girl. I wanted to tell her but I thought she might not want to do that. Afterall it's kinda gruesome (if done correctly). But when I told her about my idea she loved it! I started on some sketches during sunday school, I'm really bad but I did get in trouble for it. Then the next day we got the material, now all I have to do is make the dress. I'M SO FREAKIN' EXCITED! I've come up with an idea for a pattern. All that I need is her measurements. We might be working on it tonight and some of tomorrow. I'm doing the make-up to. Well I was originally planning on styling her hair but her hair isn't black. So I was going to get some black temp. hair color, however, I found that it was cheaper and more effective to just buy a black "rocker" wig and cut it shorter. I'm getting white footless tights and reg. white tights for her legs and arms and hand sewing "stitches" on them. For the stitches on the face and chest I'm going to put liquid latex, on the spots where the stitches are, in several layers and stitch them up then use spirit gum to stick them to her skin. And put the liquid paint over them to blend them in with the skin. This will make them look very real. (Hee hee! I can't wait to see people's faces!). Mitsukazu has a very awesome habit of making all her girls have beautifully long eyelashes. Dani, unfortunately, doesn't have hardly any so I'm going to get fake ones. This is going to be a wick a** costume! I'll post pics when Halloween or All Hallo's Eve is over. If all goes well I'll make a "how to" guide with step by step.
