My mind: blank,
As if it were a sea of stagnancy.
My thoughts are non-existent,
As I am refined to primitive existence.
Heart palpitating,
The shocks of my synapses jump down my spine.
Hands trembling; each breath shallower than the last.
The flush in my cheeks travels to the tips of my fingers,
And the fire within my veins electrifies my body.
My toes curling with such agonizing restraint:
A convergence of feeling inside my soul,
Creating an epiphany, a symphony of sensation!
Your piercing gaze stings like a dagger, pointed and sharp;
Ripping apart my chest, while
your laughter caresses my face with gentle flower petals.
You are a beautiful monster,
Filling me with the juxtaposition of dread and awe.
Do you know the chaos within me, I wonder?
Blind arrows create primal ripples within my mind.
My resolve is slipping,
My yearning growing, ever so slowly,
Merely from the desire to kiss you.
And yet, you sit stoically, and I am forced to wonder
What your mind endures as I experience the very essence of life.
