Terra no Solis
Background Information

Long ago, the World was a corrupt, decaying place, filled with people who had no Honor and Crime was a daily part of everyday life. It was not unexpected for someone to break into your house, kill a Loved One, or manage to escape just Punishment through a fractured Judicial System. It was no surprise, then, that several Great Wars broke out over the span of years. The Third World War came with desolation. Many millions of lives were lost, many more were injured beyond repair, Mentally and Physically, and had to be Disposed of. Great destructive weapons called Atomic Bombs were loosed upon the World, bringing with them an Environmental Collapse and Radiation Poisoning that lasted many Generations.
It was a wonder that any Humans Survived at all.
Now, a few thousand years later, most of the Radiation has dissipated and the Environment has recovered itself substantially. Forests were growing again, the ice has melted away from the Continents, the Mutant By-Products have gone nearly Extinct. Some intelligent Humans managed to save some of the Animals before the War using a World-Wide Scientific Project called The Ark. They preserved the DNA signatures of several Animals of each Species in an underground Lab, and also managed to usher some Innocents in for Protection. Some were kept awake to keep the Human Race alive and thriving and others were Frozen. The ones that were Frozen were Awakened so that they could write their accounts of The World That Was for future School Books.
Things seemed to be going well.
The Animal DNA was Cloned, Bred, and Trained to Survive in the Wild as it was. They were released in Regions that would accept them and need them, and in ways that wouldn't disrupt the Natural Order. The Humans had decided to go out and try to develop their own Countries again, separating for the first time in centuries. They had all agreed, however, on what things had lead the Human Race to their downfall. They rejected those things, vowing to never accept them as part of Society again. These things included guns, Atomic Bombs, and Drugs among other things. Some things they simply couldn't imagine creating again, fearing to cultivate the same laziness that led to Obesity. So conveniences like cars, trucks, and most game systems were lost, even though they kept Mopeds, Motorcycles, and Elevators.
They were also selective about which Behaviors would be selected in Society.
Another century has passed since that time, and Countries have been Developed. On the Continent of Incendia there are around ten Countries, most Boarders having been reached through careful Negotiations. The two most important, most Influential, are Terra no Sol Solis and Terra no Luna.
The Land of the Sun and The Land of the Moon.
Now, lately these two Countries haven't been getting along too well. They have been throwing accusations back and forth between each other, and no one clearly remembers the reasons why this even started. These Rival Countries hadn't really offended the other or stepped too far into their Territory, but something... Consequential happened.
Whether it was Solis who attacked Luna or the other way around, no one really knows. No one is really even sure that there was a Battle, the facts of the matter are so muddied, even though the site certainly looked blood-stained. The important thing is that the Rival Countries are regarding each other skeptically now, and Negotiations aren't helping the matter. The eight smaller Countries are being forced to choose sides or risk being caught in the Cross-Fire.
What these Countries are planning now...
