*realizing that now that she is a dark elf, she has put herself in distress, yukiko attempts to go down to the Durem underground and enlist the help of the Kuro gang. unsure of whether or not they will accept her pleas. so she decides to blow off the money she has earned from playing Booty Grab all day long on clothes that would make her seem more appealing than she really is*

yukiko: i'm appealing enough as is.

*yeah, to a trash can*

yukiko: whatever. i still need to cinch this heartbreaker coat together.

*if you say so. well, when that's done, she goes to a secret underground tunnel that leads to a very opulent hallway full of paintings and gold*

yukiko: i never would've thought that the dark elves were this sophisticated. well, might as well give them my jewels. i wonder if the Don will accept them....

*she is led down the hall by two elven henchmen, taking a silent glance at everything the Don has within*

yukiko: it's strange that they can have all of this stuff.

*well, that's how they are. she is then led to a room with a throne and a surprisingly small dark elf sitting on it. realizing quickly this is the Don, she walks over and kneels to him, offering her jewels*

Don Kuro: you must seem wealthy or desperate.

yukiko: well, it's a little of both.

Don Kuro: *eyeing her strangely* how did you place yourself in your current state.

yukiko: *takes deep breath* i was exploring the Durem caves and i drank a potion that left me like this.

Don Kuro: i see. that potion will only wear off when you exhibit a strong desire to become human.

yukiko: i know, our starship told me that.

Don Kuro: your starship?

yukiko: yes, it has an AI installed into its program. he calls himself Ryd.

Don Kuro: Ryd...i see...well, you seem capable enough. how would you like to join us?

yukiko: thank you, but i don't think my captain would be too happy about that. besides, i don't know what will happen to me if i revert to my human form.

Don Kuro: good things will come in time. right now, you need to be well-equipped. *turns to a female dark elf in a trench coat* Cornell, lead this girl to training.

Cornell: as you wish. *both dark elves take their leave*

Don Kuro: be strong, yukiko-san. great dangers lie in wait for you...and your loves.
