#24- Ahisutah's Tale

“Thousands of years ago, when there was no king yet to the human throne, there was many great quarrels between men. A king was not to be chosen from just normal humans but he, the king, must have a hint of a Seven Light's Lord's blood in him. Now as for the Lords, ah yes, it was such a long, long time ago when the Lords thrived. The Lords of Seven Lights were magnificent creatures known as, in human tongue, guardian angels, the same as White Lights.” Ahisutah said.
My eyes widened as Ahisutah mentioned guardian angels. I knew what they were. Back at my school in Japan, people would believe that guardian angels took a single person, place or thing to look after and never leave the guarded object for as long as they live. They were known as signs of luck and fortune.
“So this world we dwell in was named Seven Lights after these great lords,” Ahisutah continued, “There were seven guardian angel lords back then. Each one of them had a special light ray color. The light rays were the angel’s spiritual aura or source of power. If an angel was to lose their light ray color, they were not to be guardian angels any longer instead they will be turned into a stone mountain and will never be a guardian angel again. The seven lords were as named; Hasgania the Sapphire Light, Turoshgana the Black Light, Eronigoru the Emerald Light, Gohsagai the Crimson Light, Yataigode the Golden Light, Florisha the Violet Light and finally, Ayutipha the Silver Light and the angel who was once White Light’s one and only true mother.”
My heart nearly skipped a beat at Ahisutah’s last words. Whitey-chan was a child to a Lord? That astounded me, making me wonder how such a great marvel such as a guardian angel would come into the human world, using so much energy just to pull me into this world. How special was I? I was just a human living a normal life, nothing magical of any sort. What would I be of any good in this world? I closed my eyes for a second and then opened them, deciding to listen to Ahisutah to hear more of the Lords.
She spoke a little more quietly now, with a lighter tone, hoping not to stir Whitey-chan from his slumber.
“I’ll tell you a bit about each of the Lights,” She said, rubbing her hands together as if warming them, “Hasgania, oh that Hasgania… she was the most beautiful and elegant angel to live in this world. She was strong and commanding, much like a queen. She was the sister of Yataigode, who was the leader of the Seven Lights. He was the most powerful. His great power was always looked up to and nobody was able to challenge him. He once killed a whole army of Morgelles, a type demon from the underworld. He was looked up to and admired. There was also the kind and passionate Florisha, known as the most loved angel. Her ways were always for benevolence and peace. She cared for everyone around her and loved the world of Seven Lights as if it was her own child. The total opposite of her was Turoshgana who was recognized for his color of black. He was dark and mysterious, never talking much or getting close with the Seven but his ways were always for good, never evil. His emotions were never shown and could never be admitted from him. Eronigoru was the growing angel. He took care of the earth and all its living vegetation. He was acknowledged for his smile for as rumour says it was able to grow a thousand trees. Gohsagai was the angel most beings would keep their distance from. His emotions consisted mostly of rage. He was very strong but constantly angry of small things. But he was still passionate on keeping the world of Seven Lights at its best. Lastly, there was White Light’s mother, Ayutipha. She was so clever and bright that none of the other angels could outsmart her. She also had amazing beauty, not as polished and lustrous as Hasgania’s but still was admired. She was kind to humans and cared for them with her heart. She also cared for her fellow angels, not aware of herself actually falling in love with one. Yes, that is true; she had a keen eye for Yataigode, the gold. She’d be with him almost every hour of the day, helping him with his duties and assisting his needs. Eventually, after many centuries of being together they were bounded, which is the same and getting married in your world.”
Suddenly confusion shot into my head again.
At that moment, I had the urge to ask a question and chose to for fill this urge.

“Centuries?” I asked, “Are angels able live forever?”
Ahisutah nodded with peacefully closed eyes, “Oh yes, yes, as long as they are not killed by another angel, which will be almost impossible. Why impossible, you might ask?"
She paused to let me respond to her words. I gave her a wide eye look and a quick nod to urge her on her tale.
She continued, "Thus, the Seven are all bonded together as a family. Their spirits are all connected. If one dies, the rest will be able to feel the pain of the death of their fellow angel and will not be at peace till they are all dead themselves. But, yes, they will live for as long as the world of Seven Lights exists. It may be quite a surprise to you but White Lights is already three centuries old.”
I let out a small gasp, “Three hundred years?”
Ahisutah nodded again with a slight grin.
“Shall we continue the tale?” she said, her voice smooth and serene.
“Yes, please do go on.” I said quickly.
