I'm finally finished with it!!! I messed up a few times but oh well!!!! This chapter may be a little long but please bear with me. Remember though!! I'm making the story as I go alone but sometimes ideas would just pop into my head!!!
Anyways, Onwards with the Story!!!!!!!
I walked inside the classroom silently as I ignored the few people who looked at me as I passed by. I went and stood behind my chair and put my bag on my desk that is next to the window. At the corner of my eye, I looked outside, still owed about how great the view of the big courtyard was. Well…this is, after all, a prestigious high school. I wonder how I even manage to raise my grades; especially my math grade. I scanned the courtyard as I sat down in my chair, resting my cheek in the palm of my hand. Then something caught my eye, along with all the other students. There was someone that nobody knows walking behind the principal. The secretary came and was talking with Principal Matsuo. Everyone was staring at the kid now. It looked like he was a few years older then me. He has raven black hair and I can’t see his eyes since he appears to be staring down on the ground.
Hmm…
“Hey guys. Do any of you know this guy?” I asked everyone, still looking at the guy. Everyone came to the window and looked down.
“Huh? A newcomer?”
“Seems like it.”
“I wonder which family he’s from and what they do.”
“He might be one of those gifted commoners.”
“Why is he wearing our uniform?”
“I wonder what kind of personality he has.”
“He doesn’t look convincing.”
I looked at the person who was using my left shoulder as a headrest. It was Narato Kasumi. She’s a good friend I made at this school. She has chocolate brown hair and blue eyes. She’s a couple of centimeters taller then me.
“Why do you say that?” I asked her. “Look at him. He looks like a delinquent.” I looked back at the boy as she continued. “No delinquents can get into this school. Even if a rich kid at this Academy was a delinquent, then he or she would get expelled immediately.”
“You have a good point but no matter what, he won’t be expelled from this Academy.”
Everyone turned their attention to the person that spoke. Everyone recognized that voice very well, because he is not just our class rep, he’s one of the “hottest” guy in school, and our student body president; in Japanese format; Akimoto Hikaru.
He has messy blonde brownish hair that covers a little bit of his eyes but can see them and he as beautiful bright blue eyes. Compare him to me, he’s a few feet taller then I am.
“How come?” a classmate named Baiko asked.
Hikaru chuckled. “Because that new kid is my cousin. He may be a delinquent but he is pretty smart. I asked Principal Matsuo if he can enroll him and he said yes.”
“Hold up!” Kasumi said, placing her elbow on my right shoulder. I gave her a look but she didn’t notice. “Why would a delinquent want to enroll in a prestigious school anyway? The only reason why delinquents come to school is because they are forced to. Usually delinquents would just sleep through class, go home, and then sleep some more.”
“Well I did ask him why he wanted to enroll in this Academy but he just told me to shut up and don’t ask.” Hikaru explained.
“This doesn’t seem right.”
“You think nothing seems right.” I told her in an odd voice.
“Shut up Aer!!” She yelled at me and then turned to glare at Hikaru who returned her with a smile. I looked over my shoulder and looked at the new kid. He looked up and our eyes met. A shot of weird unease went up my spine. He looked away, nodded, and then started walking. It was then I just realized that the secretary had finished talking with Principal Matsuo and motioned for him to follow him.
I turned back around and cupped my chin between my finger and thumb, resting my elbow on my left hand, looking at the ground. “Hikaru’s cousin, huh?” Everybody turned and looked at me. I looked up at Hikaru. “This could be a little chaotic.”
* * * *
“Alright everyone take your seats.” Kagawa-Sensei said. “Everyone. We have a new student today. You probably already know what he looks like because I believe everyone in the whole school was looking at him.” She looked at the door. “You may come in.”
The door opened and in came the new kid. He stood next Kagawa-Sensei and faced us. Everyone’s eyes were all on him. His jacket uniform was unbutton, revealing the white buttoned up collar shirt that all boys were to wear under it, and his hands were tucked in his pockets.
Of course, he has raven black hair but now that we all have a good look at him, it looked like it was a mix of black and blue. The left part of his bangs covered his left eye while the right part covered a little portion of his right eye. His hair seemed neater compared to Hikaru, and it reached down to his neck. His eyes were dark blue with a little bit of black in it, making it darker. Last, he wore a kind of glowing blue diamond necklace.
Kagawa-Sensei looked at Hikaru. “Hikaru-Kun, how about you introduce him for us.”
Hikaru nodded and stood up. “Of course.” He was walked over to the new comer and stood on his left side. “Everyone, like I told you, this is my cousin, Akimoto Ein. He will be enrolling this prestigious academy so I hope everyone treats him nicely.”
For a second, I thought I saw a flicker of anger in his eyes towards Hikaru. I must be seeing things…
“It is a pleasure to meet you, Ein-Kun.” Kagawa-Sensei said, receiving a nod as a response. “Now lets see where to put you…” She started scanning the class.
Hikaru also started looking around until his eyes were on me. Well…I didn’t see his eyes were on me since I was looking out the window but I felt his eyes. No…not just his. But I felt another. I looked at the front of the room to see the Cousin Akimoto looking at me to. I blinked and fully turned to look at them.
“Kagawa-Sensei. There’s that empty seat behind Aerean-Chan.” He said. I looked at Hikaru with a surprised look. Did he just add the “-Chan” honorific? He never did that before. Well, at least not to me.
“Ah! Yes! Aere-Chan (Pronounced “Aerie”) please raise your hand so Ein-Kun can know who you are.” Sensei said.
I sighed and raised my right hand up slowly.
I kept my eyes forward as Ein came walking down the isle. All of a sudden, a shot of cold unease came up my spine…just like that time when our eyes met.
I sat there, frozen as he walked by me.
“Hey, Aer. Are you okay?” a voice whispered
I looked to my right to see Kasumi leaning in to me.
“Oh…Yeah. I’m fine. Don’t worry.”
Kasumi gave a grunt of disapproval.
“Okay everyone!!! Let’s begin the lesson!!” Kagawa-sensei said happily, clapping her hands twice. “We’ll being with algebra first.”
“No…not algebra!!” I groaned as I slammed my head on my table.
“Oh c’mon Aerean.” Misa said, as she turned around in her chair to look at me. “I don’t get you. You hate math yet you’re really good at it.”
“Yeah! How can you not like math and be good at it? That doesn’t make sense!” said Duo.
“Oh shut up you guys!!” I retorted. “Back when I was in middle school, I sucked at Math big time! I always got D’s and C’s. But I mostly got D’s!!”
“Don’t forget that one F you got!” Kasumi said happily.
“Oh shut up, will ya!?” I sighed. “No matter what even if I did get better at it or was good at it from the start, I’ll always hate and detest math. Math can go die for all I care.”
* * * *
I sat back in my chair and stretched arms and legs. “Ah! Finally! Lunch time!!”
“I’ll go get us some lunch, okay?” Kasumi said standing up.
I nodded. “Thanks.”
“How are you feeling, Aerean-chan?”
I looked up to see Hikaru leaning on Kasumi’s desk.
“I feel fine. Oh and…” I stood up and glared at him. “Did something change or something?”
He looked at me with innocent eyes. “What do you mean?”
“The “-Chan” thingy majing!”
“What? You not used to it or something?”
I looked to my right to see Ein looking at me. I glared at him.
“I am used to people saying that honorific to me it’s just that Hikaru never said it to anyone before. That’s all.”
“Doesn’t mean that you have to make a big deal out of it.”
“I’m not making a big deal out of it. I’m merely asking out of curiosity.”
“Well the, let’s just say a change of heart then.” Hikaru said, smiling.
I blinked. “That’s it?”
Akimoto laughed a dark laugh as he stood up. “What? Were you expecting something big? Well guess what, to bad! Curiosity killed the cat.”
“But satisfaction brought it back!” I shot back instantly. I didn’t notice but my voice had rose a bit and had everyone’s attention that were still in the room.
Akimoto scoffed. “Girls like you are really annoying. Those kind of girls shouldn’t be here in this prestigious school.”
I breathed heavily as I held my anger in. I sighed. “Well I’m sorry for being here.” Wow. My voice turned out to be calmer then expected. “But I’m sorry to inform you that I was at this academy first.”
“But Hikaru was here first, am I correct?”
“Oh, so now your asking Hikaru for help? I thought you were a tough guy. I guess you’re not.”
“SHUT THE HELL UP, GIRL!!!”
“I have a name you know. It’s Hikari Aerean. I don’t call you by “boy” now, do I? Akimoto.”
“NOW YOU’RE DEFINATLY ASKING FOR A IT YOU LITTLE DAUGHTER OF A BI-”
“Alright, enough you two.” Hikaru said, stepping in between us.
“Whatever.” I mumbled and sat back down in my chair and looked out the window. There was someone standing there, hiding behind one of the trees. I couldn’t tell what the person looked like or if it was a student from this school.
The figure took one step away from the tree, looked up, and our eyes met. My eyes widened as I recognized the person. The person was a boy. He has raven black hair that reached down to his neck. His hair partially covered his cold blue eyes and he seemed to wear a bandana. He wore a black long sleeve turtleneck with a white-collar sleeveless jacket over it. He wore white baggy pants that had pockets around wear his knees wore and wore black shoes.
I stood up unexpectedly, startling Misa, Hikaru, and Ein.
“Aerean? What’s wrong?” I heard Misa ask me.
“It can’t be…” I mumbled silently to myself but I’m sure that the three of them heard me. It really can’t be. What would He be doing here? There is just no way.
He looked at me a little bit longer. Then, he turned and walked away.
My legs gave out and I felt myself falling. I felt my body hit something hard like a rock and hands on my shoulders.
“Aerean!!!” A voice called. I recognized that voice but I just can’t put my finger on it. I was to startled because of the person I saw.
I felt another pair of hands grab my shoulders and it turned me around. The hands shook me wildly and then I snapped back to reality. I saw that it was Kasumi, her face only inches away from mine.
“Aerean! What is it? Are you okay? What happened?” she asked frantically.
“Relax, it’s not like she’s gonna die or any like that, a voice said to my right.
“Shut up Ein!” she shouted. She turned back to me. “Aerean? Honey, what’s wrong? Hikaru! What happened!?”
“I don’t know. Ein and Aerean were fighting and I stopped them. She sat down and looked out of the window. All of a sudden, she startled us by standing up unexpectedly.”
“Out the window?” she repeated. She turned back to me and held my face between her warm hands, so she can look me in the eyes. “Aerean? What did you see? Who did you see?”
I shook my head and shoved away.
“Aerean. Please tell me. I’m here to help. You know you can trust me.”
“Alright everyone!! Take your seats! We’re back at class!!” Kagawa-Sensei said, clapping her hands to get everyone’s attention. We all sat down and began class.
The bell rang for the school to end. As usual, I walked with Kasumi, Misa and Hikaru, but now accompanied with Ein.
“Um….Aerean?”
“What is it Kasumi?”
“You’re not gonna tell me…aren’t you.”
I stopped walking and looked at her. She was looking down at the ground with sad eyes.
“Is it because you don’t trust me?” She looked at me with pleasing eyes. “What did you see? Who did you see that made you have that shocking expression? I’ve never seen you have that kind of expression unless it’s something terrifying or something that’s good enough to scare you.”
I took a few steps forward, looked at the sky that was almost flooded with clouds, and sighed. “I saw someone who I never thought I would never ever see again.”
“And who would that be?” I heard Hikaru ask.
I turned around to face the four who looked at me with concern. Yes, that means Ein seems to be concerned…..or interested.
“I saw…….I saw my brother.”

Makeup is icky
My blue bathrobe is fluffy
And I will always and forever love Pokemon
Our song of hope, she dances on the wind
Higher, oh, higher
Ere our hopes endure
Everything's the will of the strong
Standing tall in the dark, til we carry on
On wings of hope, you rise up through the night
Higher, oh, higher
Carrying a song
Raise up everything in our hearts
that its chorus might ring for all!
