--Tayuya charged from the shadows, kunai in hand! Sakura skidded backward to avoid the attack--
Wham!
Sakura's head collided with the wall. She slumped to the floor, stars flashing in her eyes blinding her. By the time her vision had cleared, the red-haired konoichi had disappeared.
"Ow." Sakura's head was throbbing and she winced at the pain.
"Sakura!" Sasuke rushed to her side. "Are you all right, Sakura-chan?"
"Uh-huh. Just hit my head, that's all."
"I saw. D'you need me to take you to Tsunade-sama?"
"No, I can heal myself." Sakura's hand glowed with chakra as she healed her wound. Shakily, she stood. "C'mon, Sasuke-kun. Let's go for a walk."

The sun was shining (nearly blinding) bright. Birds were singing their little hearts out in a call-and-answer fashion. Water droplets shone on treeleaves and wet grass from the night before's rain. All in all, it was a beautiful day. Sasuke and Sakura strolled hand-in-hand, staring in awe at the splendor that rain could leave in its wake. After a while, the two chunin came to the edge of a forest near the edge of the village.
"Wanna go in?" Sasuke mumured into Sakura's ear, "I know of a lovely, secluded area I think you'd love to see."
"Sure. It sounds like fun."
"Close your eyes. Don't want you to see the spot too soon."
Sakura trusted Sasuke almost completely, and though he had never talked to her like that before, she sensed that nothing was wrong. She closed her eyes and let Sasuke's firm hand guide her.
"Okay, Sakura-chan, you can open your eyes now."
Sasuke let go of her hand as she looked around. He was smiling--not his usual smirk--a true smile. All around them, the forest was more alive and beautiful than ever. Unseen birds were twittering in the trees, and directly in front of Sakura was a lovely, clear, blue pool with a huge waterfall. Brightly colored flowers bloomed on the banks.
"Wow," she gasped, amazed at the oasis's beauty, "Sasuke, this--this is--it's almost too beautiful for words!"
"I thought you'd like it Sakura-chan. As far as I know, nobody knows about it except you and me."
"Oh wow,...wait a minute. Sasuke, if nobody else knows about this place, then who's that?"
"What?!" Kneeling by the roaring waterfall was the form of a ninja; a female ninja. "s**t! I forgot she'd been tracking me when I passed through here." Yup, you guessed it! It was Tayuya."Dammit! Sasuke-kun, you stay here. I know it seems like I'm being overprotective, but she's already almost killed you once. I'm not taking that chance again. THAT b***h IS GOING DOWN!"
