The ship's Captin's voice sounded over the intercom as the shuttle came out of hyperspace, the planet Mars just off the ship's bow. Raising over the red planet's horizion the blue crescent Earth grinned at the passengers on that ship, their destination was now in sight and it would only be a few more hours before they docked in the space port located on the dark side of Earth's moon.
The blue planet Earth is a prime vacationing get away for aliens from all over the galaxy. A chance to just relax and live a while among the technologically primitive natives for a change in pace.
The space port was the last stop before visitors were taken to their vacation destination but firstly all passengers had to go through the Eden Customs; no "Alien" organics allowed on the planet, Earth's ecosystem was delicate enough without the added stress of introducing alien plants or animals.
Besides Customs, the Lunar Space port was the main office for the Earth Vacationing and Tourism agency, also known as EVT where all the visitors were given a "Datatek"; small metalic object in the design of a key chain, something like a super hightech name tag that asigns a human alias to each visitor. A simple Earth name and a human form used for the visitor's temporary stay on the planet, also included in the Datatek was a beacon that when activated will identify the asigned visitor to the nearest EVT employee and to other EVT tourists. Visitors were sure not to loose this ^_^ as it is their ticket back on the shuttle home.

And just like on the Earth Sci-Fi T.V. shows, the alien vacationers were beamed down to the planet.
