I have a passion for 'Character Creation'. And in honesty, my favorite thing about Roleplaying (or Gaia for that matter) is the fact that I get a chance to roleplay characters of my own creation, and as some of you may know, the more you roleplay with a character, the more they (the character) develops; in character, personality, realism, and pretty soon it's like they've taken on their own life. which is what any creator wants to see. A nice, round, deep character.

But unfortunately it's difficult to come to a 'round' character if you've no where to roleplay them, or if the roleplay you've joined them in has died (which has happened more then once to me). So I've been thinking for a while now...wouldn't it be awesome to have a place to post your characters (their full profile), and develop them more fully through the experiences roleplay offers! A place you wouldn't have to worry about dying because there are others, just like you, there purely for the love of their characters.

A Guild. The Creator's Guild.

Thinking about it, and visualizing it in my mind I can see it, and it is wonderous in my eyes.

A Forum for your character(s)' profiles. In full length. that you can update as your character's character deepens.

An Area RP where you can pit your OCs against other creator's OCs. Where the point isn't to win or beat your opponent to a bloody pulp, but to uncover your OC's strengths, weaknesses and limits in battle, and of course to imporve your own Roleplaying skills in the combative (as I know Roleplaying fight scenes is a problem area for some newer Roleplayers).

A Leveling System, which might seem 'wrong' to some, but really, all OCs are NOT created equal. It would be mainly used in the Area RP to better determine who's best suited to face-off with who. So that you don't have a Newbie creator/roleplayer against an experienced creator/roleplayer; where for certainly the Newbie's confidence would take a major hit, which WOULD be wrong.

A Party RP, or some other social occurrence like a Bar or Cafe where you can better develop your OC's 'people skill' (lol); Make friends, acquaintances, 'contacts' or enemies, because God knows in real life, you CAN"T be buddy-buddy with everyone you meet.

A Spotlight Thread, where a Creator and their OC (nominated by another Creator) can have their chance to display their OC in all their glory and have it 'rated' by the other Guildmembers based on originality, diversity, flare and the creator's skill in roleplaying that character.

A FanArt Thread, just because I'm an artist and I enjoy both drawing up another creator's cool, badass OC(s), and seeing how my own OC(s) are portrayed through the eyes of another.

Story RPs, your usual, regular story based Roleplays. Different worlds where you can toss your OC in with other creator's OCs, and give then a 'life' to live and their own story to write.

That is my vision, that is my dream. The Creator's Guild.....maybe one day eh?
