Yesssss! Im finally on chapter 2!

Now for Chapter 2!


In the rain
The pavement shines like silver
All the lights
Are misty in the river
In the darkness
The trees are full of starlight
And all I see
Is him and me
Forever and forever

"Oh look, Sasuke-kun. It's raining." It had been a week since Sasuke had been attacked on Sakura's doorstep. Sakura had been staying in one of the guestrooms scattered throughout the Uchiha manor so taht if Sasuke was attacked again, she could help fend off the enemy.
"So it is," Unbeknownst to Sakura, Sasuke had come to stand with her by the window, "I've heard it said before that rain symbolizes sadness; just as the snake symbolizes evil." The mention of the snake sent chills down Sakura's spine. she had a feeling that Sasuke had been thinking about Orochimaru and the murder of his brother Itachi when he had spoken.
"Sasuke, are you thinking about Itachi and Orochimaru?"
"Um...yeah; I was."
"Well, don't; what's done is done. There's nothing you can do to bring him back. And anyway, if you could bring him back, wouldn't you just kill him again?"
"You have a point there, Sakura. okay, I won't think aboutr it anymore. At least, I'll try not to."
Thanks to the rain, light fled from the sky very quickly, and before Sasuke and Sakura knew it, night had fallen. Soon, lights appeared along the path from the Uchiha manor down to the village. blurred by the rain, the lights appeared to be encircled by misty haloes.
"Oh, would you look at that. the lights are being reflected on the pavement of the path. It looks like it's made of silver. don't you think so Sasuke-kun?"
"Hkk--" Hearing the sharp intake of breath from behind her, Sakura turned.
"Sasuke-kun? Are you okay?" Sasuke stood stiff as a slab of stone. Upon his face was a look of pure terror.
"Sasuke-kun," Sakura whimpered, "Are you all right, Sasuke-kun?" At the sound of her quivering voice, Sasuke seemed to become fully human again. He shivered once, as if someone had run a finger down his spine, and pivoted to face Sakura.
"It's nothing Sakura. Just memories from that day."
Sakura knew what day he was talking about and didn't ask any more.
"Okay, Sasuke-kun. I'll *yawn* go to my room and get some sleep. G'night Sasuke-kun."
"G'night Sakura." Sakura turned and walked down the hall. Sasuke watched her retreating back for a few moments, then turned back to the window where he looked down at the peaceful village. watching and listening to the rain tap on the roof, Sasuke slipped into a soft, dreamless sleep.
