The reason I sometimes use mules, well, for two reasons.

One, I like the intellectual exercise of creating a character of sorts that differs from me. You have a female avatar to go with your (highly male) self. Don't tell me you don't understand this.

Two, I'm fed up with idiots who react to the color of my name rather than the content of my posts.

There is nothing I have said in any of my posts on my mule, since I was appointed a moderator, that I would not have gladly posted using this account. That includes the quip about pigs and sci-fi insects.

But, you know what? Let me explain something: source critique is relevant to threads, point one. Point two, this doesn't belong in any thread. Since I don't feel like getting into an intarweb argument through PM - done that too many times with Barry already - I'm posting it here.
