Yeah, mostly writing this for a school essay, but if you care here it is-
On Monday we went on a field trip to North Carolina, one of my favorite vacation spots. My class went with the seventh and sixth graders, totaling no more than forty people. The bus was a little late getting to school, but it was no big deal. Nothing like talking to friends to sped up the clock, ne? When it did arrive I sat in the back with my class and managed to save a spot for my friend since I was guessing no one else was going to sit by me. Once everyone was boarded we departed. It took, I dont know, guessing like an hour to get there. Our first stop was the Marine Aquarium. A small, yet nice, place. I've been there before though, it didn't get old, because this time I got to pet a baby alligator. I also bought a super cute and soft penguin and I named it ES ^^ So we look around at all the cool fish and stuff and then we head to lunch.
There was a BK and Wendy's right next to each other and you could walk to either since the bus was parked between them. I went to BK and it turns out my whole class (totaling eight people) did too. A whole horde of seventh graders ran to Wendy's. It turns out my friend had no money and I wasn't abut to lend her mine since I'm money cautious. After ordering food and the cost of the penguin I had about seven or eight dollars left. Lunch ran smoothly, nothing exciting and nothing dull.
Our last stop was Jockey's Ridge, which was basically a bunch of sand dunes leading to the ocean. One word can describe that place- hot. I mean really, the sand was burning! And I didn't realize that until I was walking on it. Many of us had no shoes on so you can expect how that felt. Yeah, not too good. I couldn't say that all of the pain paid off, but I had, er, a fun time watching all the cool people do flips off the dunes and such.
We were there for about an hour and a half and then we left to head home. On the way back the bus stopped at DQ. I got a strawberry milkshake and head this odd craving for water. Yeah, they game me some icky faucet water in a cup, but it was better than nothing. We couldn't bring food or drinks on the bus so I dumped half the milkshake. After that we didn't make any more stops. The ride home bothered me but over all it was funny. A lot of people in my school are funny by the way. And really, the whole time Cady tried to steal Es and I had to hide him so she couldn't. I really liked that penguin, and she wasn't about to mess with it.
We arrived back at school around five, or at least I was told it was around five. I didnt really pay attention to time. Well, just to sum things up for ya, I would say the overall trip was nice. It had ups and downs, but then again, what doesn't? Too bad I wont be able to go on the "bus trip" next year. It was worth all the fund raising.

Did you mean "speed" in sentence 5? You posted: "Nothing like talking to friends to sped up the clock, ne?"
Sorry, I have fun correcting people's writing. sweatdrop I'm sorts a grammer freak, but I can let things like "omg" and all that stuff go. I don't care about that stuff.
