I know, it's been awhile...and I have a semi-good excuse. Not really...But I have been wondering around and reliving my childhood with my best buddy, Ayadono aka Lauran. Here's our list...
1. Air and Space museum...I think that was yesterday, that was cool. I also learned I couldn't be a jet pilot beacuse of my vision. I have 20/30...they want 20/20. Oh, well. There goes my dream of flying..*sigh* After touring the museum, we rode the carosel across the street. hehehe.
2. Monday- Virginia Marine Science Museum. Saw the penguins...*^.^*!!!!!!!!!!! I upstaged the guy who was talking about them...>.<'
First time:
"Can anyone name the nickname for the African penguins?"
*I raise my hand*
"yes?"
"The jackass penguin."
"and why are they called that?"
*once again, only one raising hand*
"someone other than her."
*no one*
"'cause they brey like donkeys"
second time:
"there are about 16 species of penguins..."
*muttering* "I can name most of them..."
"oh, really?"
"*nod* Gentu, Rockhopper, Macaroni, chinstrap, king, emporer, jackass, little penguin, blue fairy penguin, adalie, galapagos...."
*everyone's amazed*
^^ Maybe I should be a marine biologist or soemthing along those lines that deal with penguins...^^ that would totally awesome....
3.today- the zoo. We decided which characters are which animal. My favorite part:
me: "so, what would Cloud be?"
L: "Um...."
me: "a lion?"
*we both look at lion, who's being very lazy and just lying there*
L:"yep.."
both, captioning what's going on: "i'm just gonna lie here....you guys can do all the work..."
