Teehee. So, anyway, staid up late last night finishing the second book in the Rowan Gant series. fun. Here's a quick summary:
Nearly a year after stopping a serial killer, Detective Benjamin Storm once again asks his best friend, Rowan Gant, for help with a homicide case. Both soon realize they're in over their heads when the Monogram of Christ is found carved into the body of the first victim. (Torched in a public setting, ouch) The city of St. Louis is thrown back into The Burning Times when it discovered that the murder is following an old manual printed by the Catholic church in 1484, Malleus Maleficarium.
With the Pagan community now caught in the crosshairs, Rowan steps forward to help his fellow witches. Through mysterious visions and dangerous channelings, he helps piece together the crime...all the while knowing that his religion makes him a potiental target as well.
Yes, awesome book. Required a lot more research on my part in order to understand some parts...wasn't as...Obvious (?) as Harm None, but still totally sweet. Recommend it? Hell yes! And not just to the Pagans out there, but to anyone who likes murder mysteries and the unknown. Teehee.
So, anyways, I'm hanging out and just chilling. Probably gonna start on book 3 some time today...work on some necklaces and try to get together my yard sale-ish thing. ^^ Later.
