Hello everyone. As I'm sure you have noticed, I have had a recent notable obsession with Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, or DDS, or whatever your wish to call it. As a result, I have began to make a comic based on a verbal roleplay a friend and I have been doing. Here is the first page of the comic followed by and explanation of the setting, text, and characters:
The First Panel shows Gale sitting on the edge of a roof and Yyori, whose information is in my previous journal post, has come out to check on him.
The second panel shows Yyori talking to Gale. Seeing as he on the roof of a tall building, Yyori fears he is attempting to commit suicide. "Gale, you're trying to commit suicide are you?" Yyori asks him. "Yyori? No." He responds, not turning to her.
The third panel shows Gale explaining what he is doing on the roof, but Yyori doesn't understand. "I was attempting to devise a new tactical solution for our current crisis." He tells her. Yyori responds by smiling and confused smile.
The forth panel shows Gale 'anime sweat-dropping' as Hyperkittikat calls it and telling Yyori to disregard his words. "Never mind." He tells Yyori. "OKAY!" She says as she goes toward him, wrapping her arms on him in a hug.
The fifth panel was a bit difficult for me to make, I must admit. Basically, it's a front view of Yyori hugging Gale, who does not comprehend what she is doing even though Yyori has explained what a hug is many times. "What are you doing?" He asks her. "Hugging you!" responds she. "Why?" Gale says in his usual emotionless voice.
The sixth panel will be understood after you finish reading all of this Journal entry. Yyori, who is now beginning cry, tells Gale that she needed the hug because the 'fan-girls' were being mean to her. "Because The Fan-Girls were being mean!" She says through teary breathes. "Fan-girls?" Gale asks somewhat confused.
The seventh, and last panel on this page, shows Yyori anime crying and explaining what exactly the fan0girls have done. "They trampled me, and drew on Thump, and made fun of me!!" She cries.
NOW FOR THE EXPLANATIONS OF OTHER THINGS:
Question: Wait a minute, there's a thing on that building in the first panel that says "Immaculate Conception? Isn't that the school Luna goes to?! Why's that there?!
Answer: Yes!! That is the school I go to! You see, my friend had a dream that the members of Embryon (i.e. Serph, Heat, Cielo, Gale, Argilla, Sera, Yyori, and Yoko) were tracking down the Brutes and came to our school. When they entered, they found the school was heavily barricaded and that the first, second, and third graders could shoot a gun better than an eighth grader... However, some of the students in grades four, five, six, seven, and eight had Atma.
Question: So, why did they stay?
Answer: They stayed because they kids were barricading themselves against *dun dun dun* the Brutes! The eight of them decided it was best for all of Embryon to team up with the children. So they split into groups: Yyori would teach the first, second, and third graders how to aim better; Cielo taught the fourth and fifth graders without Atma how to shoot a gun, Heat taught the fourth and fifth with Atma how to use their Atma to their advantages; Argilla taught the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders without Atma how to snipe, throw grenades, etc.; Yoko taught the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders with Atma how to use their power; Serph and Gale began to plan the perfect strategy; and Sera was sewing new Embryon clothing for the children to wear in battle. After almost two days of non-stop training, the children were prepared and the Brutes arrive fully armed. Of the 324 students they began with, 220 made it without being devoured.
Question: So where do the fan-girls fit into this?
Answer: Good Question. After the Brutes attacked and retreated, Embryon (children included) decided to loosen up a bit. Almost all (if not all) of the eighth grade girls were huge fans of Gale and Heat. They thought the two of them were the hottest guys they had seen. For the fun of it, they decided to do Karaoke. When Heat finished singing his song, the fan-girls ran to huggle-tackle him and just happened to trample Yyori on the way to do so. ((Hence incident number one 'they trampled me...')) Later that day, Yyori and Gale were setting up tents for the children and the members of Embryon. Two separate tens that took up the halves of the Gymnasium. ((yes, those were very long tents)) Because Yyori got along so well with the children, she was going to stay in their tent. That night, the Embryon members got together for a meeting, the first one Yyori was allowed to. Gale brought her back to her tent and assisted her in putting up a separator between Yyori's part of the tent and the children's part of the tent. After that happened, Yyori hugged Gale but without noticing she was in front of the fan-girls. They were angered so they turtle-napped Yyori's pet turtle Thump and drew on his shell. ((Incident NĂºmero dos.)) When Yyori woke up and saw Thump, she panicked and ran to wash his shell off in the bathroom, which she successfully did. When she returned, the fan-girls began to mock her hair, her body shape and, worst of all, her teddy bear Teddy. Yyori hid her sadness and went into her section where she stayed for a long while.
Question: Gale was on the roof and Yyori likes Gale, that would be the reason Yyori decided to go on the roof, right?
Answer: No... I'm sorry that is incorrect. Yyori wanted to go somewhere where the fan-girls wouldn't think to go so she went on the roof. She asked Gale if he was committing suicide because she had attempted to so before.

The first Panel shows Gale, who is tired of hearing Yyori complain about the fangirls and decides it is best if they return to the gymnasium with the other members. "Well..." Gale begins, "Let us return to the others." He tells Yyori. "Okay Gale!" Yyori says with glee.
The second panel, which is the first introduction to the fan girls' appearance, shows Heat walking out of his tent to see the fan girls staring at him. It takes place He is confused because he doesn't know that he has fans, let alone girl fans. "Hmm?" He manages to say before the worst takes place.
The third panel is the first introduction to Ceilo (WEE). Ceilo was going to ask Heat a question, but the fan girls nabbed him before he was able to. He witnesses theier crazy fan girl-actions. "'Ey, mon... Does Fan girls really ah... like Heat..." he tells someone is unseen in this panel.
The fourth shows my original character Yoko. She laying down on a wall with her left hand dangling off the side. Cielo tells her that 'the fan girls really like heat' and she barely reacts. Her eyes simple shift in his direction and she shows no other signs of caring simply because she doesn't. "What are they doing now?" She asks him in a bored tone of voice.
In this fifth panel, Cielo is starting to be amused and tells Yoko seeing as she asked. The fan girls are being, well, fan girlish and doing crazy stuff. "Heh heh... Dey draggin' him into dere tent...and!" he says, turning his to Yoko with a chuckle. By now, Yoko has hopped off the wall.
The sixth, and last panel for page 2, shows Cielo completely shocked an disturbed. Now the fan girls have gone too far. Dragging him into the tent was one thing, but this was another. "Um... now dey tieing him to a pole..." He says to Yoko who is just as confused as he is. "Where'd they get a pole?" She asks rhetorically.

Alright, this time I went into much more detail and spent two days in my gymnasium to get the stage right. My school is so retarded that our auditorium is in the gymnasium. Grr... Well, here's the first introduction to the fan girls, and we get to see Heat shirtless. JUST SHIRTLESS EW PEOPLE!!
The first panel, the one that takes up the top of the page, took the longest to make. At the top, we see the stage. I didn't feel like coloring the curtains because I didn't have the color to do so and photoshop has been gay lately. The door is slightly open to show Yyori has already walked through it and didn't close it. Gale is actually coming through the door, but it was barely able to seen so I erased him, sorry Gale fans. Below that we see the gymnasium, floor. Yes, there really is the school logo in the center and I am so proud of that.(not) On the left is the Embryon tent with green and oraage design to distinguish it from the IC children's tent which is orange and white. You see Yyori walking into the children's tent because that's where stays (for her own good ::points at Heat: smile . Cielo is then saying to Yoko "I'll tell you when I find out mon!"
SECOND PANEL Shows the inside of the children's tent and in it it, such a nice example from the eighth grade girls, Heat tied to a pole shirtless. Yyori is just walking in when the head fan girl exclaims "he's tied!!" Heat, as we can see, is tied by his feet and his hands only, which is a torture for him. He says not a word and doesn't transform into Agni because he isn't allowed to hurt the kids.
LAST PANEL! Here Heat lifts his head, oh, so slightly and sees (dun dun dun!) Yyroi. Heat, in case I didn't tell you, hates Yyori. She's annoying and always pisses him off Hmph... Yyori.. Thinks Heat. Meanwhile, Yyori is so afraid that the fan girls will hurt him like they did her. "Heat?" She says in shock and fear.
