#1Seven years ago, you witnessed the brutal murder of your mother at the hand of the Skum, a race of abyssal wolves that were unleashed by a tyrannal wizard near the forest of where you live. During that time, you were nearly killed, for as you tried to warn the village of these monstrosities, the Skum ambushed and left you for dead. However, you still survived, and you were able to inform your father of what happened, who in turn banished the demons back into their darkened realm. Now, you have grown into a youth of 17 years and have been taking care of your father who had avenged your mother's death so many years ago. From him, you have learned the art of sword fighting, and have become your father's equal. You have also learned how to hunt and track, another prized skill which your father taught to you.One day, your father left the house early for it was his turn to hunt. You have greatly opposed this, for his aging was slowly getting the better of him. However, he assured you that he would be fine, and bid you to tend to the house while he was gone. Grudgingly, you agreed.For three hours you waited for his return. On the fourth, worry brought you off your feet and you went in search of him. As you entered the forest where you hunted, you found prints that were not native to your surroundings. Bending down low, you carefully examined them. As you did, you noticed that the prints had five toes on them, and on each toe, there was the imprint of a large claw. It was at that instant you knew that the Skum have returned to the forest, for these were their prints!Redoubling your efforts in pursuit of your father, you resume your search knowing that he would have no chance against the Skum as once before. The Skum are known for their vengeful nature, and it is no doubt that they are out looking for your father for banishing them into the abyss. You must find your father before they do, and time is running out.
