Post 1 - chapter 1

It was a rainy night, I sat in my room in a tight ball covering my ears, I knew my mom and dad were fighting again, I could hear them, I wished they would stop. Each and every argument brought them further apart, Im starting to get scared, If my mom and dad broke up, I would have to choose who to go with. I decided to go down and stop them. I walked down the stairs, as I drew closer i could hear them more clearly.

"Robort why must you do this?, Were low on money as it is, do you want to gamble our life away?"
"WHAT!, Why can't I gamble with my friends, It's only a friendly game of cards, Catherine I don't know what is wrong with you these day's"
"What's wrong with me?, You should ask that too you self, Im at work trying to earn money so Mathew can go to a good school and you just gamble it away"
"Oh, I know what this is about, You want the money, you want to hog it all, You just using mathew as and excuse"
"How can you say that, Mathew is our son, He deserves a fine education, I want him to become something good when he grows up, no like you, your just a sleeze bag who has no job and sits around all day drinking beer"
