View User's Journal

And now for something completely different...
...or as different as a damned blog can be, anyway. It started out as a project, it devolved into a chronicling of my misanthropy, rage, and occasional fits of glee. It sounds good, though, and might even make you laugh.
Late afternoon, another day is nearly done
Holy cow sprites, Batman! Two journal updates in less than a week?!

Yes indeedy, although this is more administrative than anything else. I know I begged off for a bit in a previous entry, but I had more time than I thought I would, and the crisis there has been postponed indefinitely. But now I am getting absolutely crushed with classes, and those come first. I have a class to teach and two midterms next week, plus it's time to start writing papers for critical thinking and Age of Satire (My professor is a complete hardass, although she seems to think my 30-minute knocked-out worksheets are A-plus material. I won't complain or question further). And because they decided to move our Fall Break back to Thanksgiving, the week no one is in class anyway, I won't get a break for another month, and then it's finals time. With all this going on, I haven't been able to devote a really good amount of time to Gaia, and I have an inbox full of PMs I need to wrap up before I even think of adding to my plate. I don't want to burn out and I don't want to do crappy work for all you guys, so I'm officially on part-time status. Please don't be offended if I don't answer your PMs right off the bat even if I'm online-- I get on to check up on things, but I generally don't have time to have conversations. Even if I do have an hour or more free, that goes to modding before anything else. So...it's not personal, I just have a lot of stuff to do. If you have something urgent, I am not your best bet right now and for the coming month and a half; I'll look into things you want my personal opinion on, but I can't promise I will be speedy. domokun
