Just my reasons
The sunset dragged on, smearing its red and orange over the blue sky, trying to hold onto the sky a little longer before it sank into the west. She sat on the sun-warmed wall, staring off into the distance, waiting for the stars to shine. She was the only one that could hear their voices, and only at night. The sun's screaming light was too much for their soft, ringing voices. So as the sun's light died out, and it left a painting on the western horizon, stars began to sing above her head. She gazed upward to the darkening sky, and two nearby stars sang their ringing song down to her. She looked down again, to the grave that stood solemly at her feet. There were two names carved in it. One was hers, another was a boy's. But only one body lay beneath the ground there. She still lived, thought her spirit died when he did. Every night, she sat here, just wanting to be near to him. So long ago, it seemed, when they first met. But that was all gone now. All because of an accident. And Sakage Mizuka looked to the stars for answers now, because God spoke to her through them. And she was listening for a purpose now.
