I basically spent today outside. For those of you who know me, that's completely insane by my standards. Most of you say that I'm a vampire and would turn to dust in the sunlight. But it was a really nice day so I figured I'd get out a bit. I went to Staples first to buy a new printer since my old one was crap and the people at Dell wouldn't do anything about it when it broke. When I was browsing, an employee came up to my dad and I and asked if he could help us. I looked up and I recognized him but didn't know from where. I just kinda stared at him like a dumbass and said, "I know you." He said he was Kimberly's older brother, Kevin and then I remembered. Kim was my best friend growing up but we kind of went our seperate ways when we got into Jr. High. She was a more popular girl because she hung out with the skaters and I just kind of stayed away from that group. So we would pass each other in the halls every now and then but nothing more. No more calls, no going over to each other's houses, no nothing. It kinda hurt to lose a friend but I'd never let her see that. Boy, how many friends have I lost like that? Always losing them to popularity. Anyway, he was really nice (a lot nicer than I remember) and he helped us find a really nice printer/scanner for about $100. He even carried it to the register and got us a rebate and such. My dad got my mom a calculator and come pencils for her work so when we got home, I left to go off with him to drop her stuff off. We took the dog and went to the gas station. Yes, my mother works at a gas station. Sounds like a white-trash job but I get free hot chocolate so top that. After saying goodbyes, we realized that we didn't buy any paper. So we went to Longs Drugs and got some. Coming out, I saw the Snow Cone Guy in the back of the parking lot. I used to have those snow cones all the time growing up but I hadn't had one in a long time. I got a Strawberry Daquiri one and ate/drank it one the way home. I set up my printer and Emma came over just as I was printing out some sheet music. Yes, for those of you who don't know, I play the piano and I'm always fiending for more songs. I have a couple recorded so if you want, just PM me and I'll send you some one way or another. Alright, well I've probably bored you for long enough so I'll write tomorrow. Bye bye!
