i see the clear blue skies above my head
i hear the planes fly high leaving us for dead
it takes a minute to drop, the screaming never stop
the future's so bright even if nothing's ahead
a flash of light and everything freezes in time
i see a photo and momentarily rewind
my eyes may bleed, and i can't breathe
but at least you'll survive in my mind
i've made my peace and i'll be okay
tomorrow's not promised to us anyway
if all is lost for our selfish cause
then i'll know that our life was simply a waste

I don't think i'm a good writer. I don't even think I'm good at anything, and if you want to waste your time reading these so called 'poems' go right ahead. I'm just sorry they're not as great as I would like them to be.
