You know, it seems like everytime I hear that song, I always hear the same exact snippet?
Well, I heard it on Peterotica last night, in that little scene with the made up Jude Law and Renee Zellwegger movie thing where her face is like an anteaters, and when she starts eating the ants, 'Roll to me' by Del Amitri begins to play.
Of course, it's that same snippet I'm used to hearing...
... So I thought about it tonight, decided to gfind out what the band's name was, what the name of the song was, and I found it by looking for a description of Peterotica, which of course wound up including a description of this same scene, and by default named the song! Thn iread briefly about Del Amitri before getting bored and looking for the lyrics, which I've copied already, and will paste momentarily, then I looked for the music video. However, I didn't like the thumbnails, and when I saw an AMV someone made for it to Digi Charat right below the music video, I went 'OOh, a more fitting music video!' and headed straight for that. Either way I heard the whole song and damn is it short, but I still like the song.
It really does have a spring/summer sound, but I have to say... though there is a strangely 'spring' aspect to the song, there is also a summer aspect to the song, so I guess I'd better add it to the list!
