Because it was Earth Day and I had wanted to do this for quite some time, I decided I was going to go to the hiking trail I'd taken to hiking lately and pick up some litter.
Well, in order to get there, I have to cross this big intersection. So I'm standing at the corner waiting for my light to come on, and I'm there for a little while. Finally, the light comes on, and I look around to be careful and this blue car comes up. It stopped momentarily while I was there and when the light came up, but as SOON as my foot touches the asphalt, the ******** slams his pedal!!
It's a good thing that I'm paranoid as it is, because I normally run across the street anyway! If I hadn't run, the a*****e would have had me under his car!! As it was, he was going so damned fast that he still hit my foot with his goddamned tire, but he never stopped! Just kept on going!! I could see people in their cars looking at me as I continued to cross, meanwhile I'm cursing at the person who made an attempt on my life. "What the hell is your problem!? Geez!!!"

I mean, it's bad enough I've always expected to die young, but I swear, that bugger made me think that today was going to be the day!! DX
I was so shaken and enraged that I couldn't force myself to get over it, no matter how I tried, so I just walked up the trail trying to calm myself down while thinking about what happened.
