Hi, it's been a while. I was just browsing around and I looked at your profile and it looked like you were having multimedia troubles, yes?
For that video that you had in your profile, under the "multimedia" section of your "edit profile" area put in this link:
http://www.youtube.com/p.swf?video_id=mNlipbftTOs
That should embed it into your profile under the multimedia section. I know this because when I saw you had troubles I went looking for a solution and it didn't take long. So indirectly, you could thank [Simple.and.Clean] for the help. She wrote this in a thread I found: "Since all of you needs help I'll try my bestest to explain. Okie, take the Permalink under the video and remove the watch? then change the = to /. Thats for a non-autoplay video. For an autoplay video just add &autoplay=1 to the already fixed code. And tadah." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So Phoenix dude tried to help me out, but the thing is I STILL CAN'T SEEM TO DO THIS ON MY OWN!!
I'm trying to apply Simple.And.Clean's lesson to another link, but it would seem that it's not taking. sweatdrop crying *sighs dejectedly.*
Okay... here's this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRrK_7mVd1Q
That's the permalink for Fullmetal Oddities. XD
Now... ATTEMPTING to DIRECTLY apply that rule according to Simple, it should turn out something like this:
Take out the 'watch?' part, right?
http://www.youtube.com/v=wRrK_7mVd1Q
So that leaves the frickin' V. THEN, you change the equals sign to a slash!
http://www.youtube.com/v/wRrK_7mVd1Q
And THAT'S for a non autoplay! biggrin
For an AUTOPLAY, just add &autoplay=1 to the fixed link!! Now, sadly, the autoplay thing actually works, but ONLY to the PROPERLY FIXED LINK. That link I came up with over there IS NOT RIGHT. >_< SO I tried using Phoenix's changes to a different link, instead.
That would take THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRrK_7mVd1Q
to THIS:
http://www.youtube.com/p.swf?video_id=wRrK_7mVd1Q
Theoretically, that should work... maybe it will? I can hope... but last time I did it, it didn't work at all. Autoplay thingy made it WORSE to boot. >_<
Oh well... let's see what happens...
