oh my gosh I feel so poor.
this coming semester is gonna drain my account. FAST.
took a super long (and deep) nap this afternoon, hence why I'm still up now.
shopped online for a lot of my books, have 2/3 or so of them ordered.
ELEVEN BOOKS FOR ONE CLASS??!?!!!
*cries*
anywho. ~$200 total on books this semester, if not a titch more.
plus TWO private lessons and regular tuition, and that puts my account under my idea of acceptable for the first time in a long time.
but it'll get better.
short term I have Christmas break and DF wages coming in, longer I have work-study, longer still I'll have summer wages (from hopefully two or three jobs, depending on how I swing it), and longer still I won't need to be on the meal plan, there won't be any private lessons for anything, and I'll have a MUCH cheaper housing arrangement (that'll also be more comfortable, too...).
so, a note of optimism for self. ^^
with any luck, I'll have a spending freeze as soon as school starts up again. After I pay tuition and books and such, there's really nothing for me to spend money on besides gas- everything else is already paid for. o.o
with a few of the things I've bought this whole season, I knew as I was buying them that I wasn't following my rules for myself (ie no impluse buying)... grrr. of course that comes back to kick me in the butt, as always. rolleyes
finished 2 skirts tonight, started a third but got lazy and didn't want to change the thread color lol.
for the rest of today, I'm gonna go work out in the morning whilst mom gets several hairs cut, then a nap is in order, then girls night! whee hopefully gonna see Mr. Downey Jr. again, then we'll see from there. i'm always wingin' it when it comes to entertainment for them haha. xD
speaking of the man:
HE'S EVERYWHERE. since I saw the movie, his name keeps getting mentioned everywhere (in the most random places, too...) and yeah. the fact that he is only like (~)5 years younger than my parents means that it's kinda a little more than a lot creepy that I think he's good-looking... xDDDDDDD
grrrrrrrr. welp, I guess a short nap is in order before the day really begins...
I need to fix my sleeping schedule. ASAP.
