So, it's not even 20 after midnight here but it is technically yesterday so, here goes...
Yesterday I woke up and decided I was gonna fake being sick so I could finish my homework and my college application. Turns out, it was a REALLY good idea.
My plans for the day included sleeping off what I felt yesterday (nausea, a little like the flu), then waking up and spending the day lounging about and working. So I was pretty surprised when I started suffering from insanely severe abdominal pain, major dizzy spells, and blindness (whever I stood up and tried to walk). It got to the point I couldn't move, I hurt so badly I was hysterical, I called my grandmother. She came right over and gave me a hot towel to put over my abdomen which did help with the pain but she was concerned and had every reason to be. About 10 months ago, my uncle died from an aneurism (I think I spelled that wrong) in his abdomen. So, grandma called mom and then rushed me to the Emergency room.
So, as it turns out, the doctor thinks I had an ovarian cyst that burst which is what caused that insense pain. Apparently it's really common... in postmenoposal women... -.- I'm a teenager! I should NOT be having these! Either way, everything should clear up in about 12 hours.
I did learn something from this experience though: I'm NEVER going to fake being sick again >.< When I do, I end up in the hospital.
