Couldn't pay our cable bill, so said cable got cut...
... now... that would sound GOD awful if you love TV...
But I love only certain shows and enjoying a good movie now and then.
We've been cut down to maybe five channels.
Four show movies all day. GOOD/DECENT movies.
For example... yesterday, one of those four aired The Fifth Element.
That's my FAVORITE movie of all time! =D
And though I caught it a bit late, it was just a bit before the Diva would arrive on deck and perform, so I got my favorite part of the whole movie-the Diva Dance! =D
One channel airs shows throughout the day, and infomercials at night.
This channel... is the Syfy channel.
Once a week, it airs two episodes from a recently discovered anime (at it's very begnning) called "Requiem of the Darkness".
It's a headtrip horror anime, but I like it. &w& Syfy Channel has also begun to air the american remake of Being Human.
I loved the original English version of that show... and after watching the first remade episode well... I still prefer the English version by so, so much because they focused entirely on the two dudes and didn't even show what the girl went through, although it's mentioned. T__T;
Besides, her issue was funnier when they showed it in the English version... XD
If this is the type of TV I'm personally consigned to (remember, That a*****e doesn't want me on the computer for anything, be it job searching or for fun... and I do use it for both. &_& ), then so be it. I am personally loving it. =3
I miss being able to watch House and The Simpsons, but if I get Donnie Darko, Candyman, and The Fifth Element in place of those two, then chit honay, we're good! =D
(Note: I had never seen Donnie Darko and Candyman before the cable got cut. Now I have. =D And Up! has aired TWICE since the cable got cut. YOU tell ME that's not a good deal! D< .... Also, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring aired twice while the cable was cut. Hence the name... I didn't remember that I knew the ending theme until I heard it at the end and accurately sung along clear through the Elvish spoken. I proceeded to wonder WHY the ******** I knew the theme... then remembered I'd heard it somewhere else, loved the vocals, and wanted to learn... so I did. Like four years ago. XD )
