Well, I just finished watching Kyou Kara Maoh and I have to admit that I liked the ending. The anime was great and I enjoyed it since the first episode.
At the end of the last episode, it made me want to watch more. Right after the episode finished I thought Now we need a fourth season. XD
The first season had ended kind of the same way except the positions were flipped.
Instead of being stuck in Shin Makoku like how the anime ended, with finally defeating the Soshu, Yuri and Murata had thought that they would never return to Shin Makoku again. That is until...Murata pushed Yuri into a fountain and they were transported back to Shin Makoku XD
And at the end of the anime, Yuri had lost all of his Mazoku power and when he went to go ask Shinou if he can transport them back, they found him in a pitiful state of using up a lot of his Mazoku power.
And at the end, when the characters are all together, Wolfram gets his jealousy on and chases Yuri. Yuri stands on the fountain, with Murata attempting to push him him but Yuri dodges it, and Yuri, Murata, and Shori ended up falling in it and being transported back to their home. XD
I seriously want a fourth season. I really love all of the characters and I love following Yuri on his adventures of his 'necessity' to help those who beg him for help XD
Well, the anime was great and I'm guaranteed to watch it all over again.
